First time eating here (even though it's right around the corner from home)... It. Was. Delicious. Awesome sushi and salad. We'll definitely be back (and become regulars I'm sure lol).
The food is always excellent and very good service too! My favorite sushi spot when I'm in the neighborhood!
So glad I found this place! The staff was so welcoming and quick. My first visit I had the Sauteed Edamame, Temptation Roll and the Cardinal Roll (minus the wasabi mayo). All of it was fantastic! The temptation roll was probably my favorite of the two. Sushi was fresh and the portion sizes were great!! I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
Excellent sushi and sashimi at a decent price. It’s not a big restaurant in but it’s a nice place for a romantic dinner. They have a wide variety of sushi along with soups and other meals. I thought the prices were very reasonable for what you get. Very friendly service. So many choices it’s tough to choose. Worth a repeat visit
Probably the best sushi in Louisville, with plenty of options. They have more authentic, fresh options as well as deliciously deep fried things. My wife, who isn't a fan of sushi, really likes their steak hibachi. We've always had great service here, and everyone's really nice.
Tokyo is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. Their sushi options are amazing and have giant pieces of fish. If you’re a non-sushi person, I’d definitely recommend the bibimbap-delicious. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Their chef, Victor, always makes my daughter her own special sushi when she comes!
I think this is the is the BEST sushi in Louisville. Tokyo is locally owned and operated. I have pictures from years of going there. The food is fresh and the guys are great. Roberto and Victor work the sushi bar, which is where we always sit. My daughter loves to watch them make the rolls and they’re always so friendly. We love it here, you have to try the garlic edamame!!
Their sushi is one of the best in town. My wife and I come often, Tokyo restaurant has well priced menu a great atmosphere . It’s a local gem.
Came in and sat down right away after being greeted. Our server Milton was incredibly nice and brought our drinks shortly after we asked. The appetizer Edamame grilled in soy sauce with garlic WAS AWESOME!! Had not seen that dish anywhere before. The chicken yakisobe was fantastic as well.. It was so good I forget to even get a picture! We also have the Sunset, and the Playboy rolls which were fresh and delicious!
Best sushi place in town. The attention and quality put on avery roll is extraordinary, the sushi chef and servers are friendly and service is great.
Very friendly and great sushi. I had the urban heat roll and it was very good. Not too spicy.
My favorite sushi in town! And I’ve tried many different spots in the US and in the city. I love this place. Very kind service and such a cozy spot that never feels overwhelming / hectic.
The temptation and victory rolls are amazing. And the appetizers are great. My go to spot always!
