Easily the best Indian restaurant in the city! All of their food is incredibly delicious, and it's consistently amazing. I could eat their chicken tikka marsala every day haha. The owners and workers are all super nice and polite. I really have nothing negative to say about this place, I just love it! I recommend this place to as many people as I can!
This is one of our favorite places. My wife is picky -- won't even touch Chinese food. But, she craves Taj Palace. I've never had anything there I didn't like. I've had curry, tika masala, korma, assortment of naan, aloo gobhi, matar paneer, saag paneer, tandoori chicken, and more.
Also, they're very nice people -- the owner and the servers.
Bonus: they often have a coupon for buy one dinner entree, get one free (up to $ 10) ... simple Google search to find.
So tasty, hot and fresh. Easy menu, helpful, friendly staff. Clean and nice soft music. What a treat, will definitely return.
I haven't been to Taj Palace since the pandemic started but I used to go all the time before then. I absolutely loved the food there, so fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a hungry girl like me to sit down, relax and eat. My favorite was the Chicken Tikka Masala. I plan on coming back soon but I've heard that they no longer do lunch buffets, is this true? I hope it's just a rumor because I absolutely loved the lunch buffets. So delicious!
This place is a must try! We went for my husband's birthday dinner with friends. The owner and staff are so pleasant, they treated us like family. We booked the outside seating, had appetizers, dinner, drinks, and dancing. We definitely kept them open later than their normal hours, but they never rushed us. We had an amazing time. Best dishes were the Gobi Manchurian, chicken 65, and malai kofta. They even brought out a special dessert set up for my husband with a candle upon request. Highly recommend this place!
Authentic Food. Very Friendly Service.
Neat & Clean Restaurant.
Also, they have small party room, which can fit 50-60 people. Every year we have small gathering in that room.
Has lots of Vegetarian options.
Everything makes & serves under the observation of owners.
Among all Indian restaurants, this is my first choice.
Had there been more stars, I would have given all of them. They accommodated us after hours and we dint feel unwelcomed for even a min.
Super tasty chaat items. Must have.
Loved the food and people. Bless you.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant (so far) in Louisville. The vegetable korma was smooth and creamy with a nice kick, and the baingan bharatha was packed with flavor and ginger aroma.
This place definitely has the best naan, with the garlic naan being VERY generous with garlic, and the aloo naan being soft and fluffy.
Prices are comparable to other Indian restaurants.
5 stars!
My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our dinner. He’s vegan and we were impressed on how delicious everything was!
Lovely food, pleasant service. We had the bread basket, lamb vindaloo, chicken Tikka kabob, veg pakora, and samosa. Still thinking Abt it today!
Overall excellent food but the appetizers are beyond expectations, you need to try them, they opened there setting outside , I loved the service and loved the whole experience 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤨🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Favorite Indian food in Louisville! Tikka masala and garlic naan never let me down. Even my toddler loves and asks for chicken tikka masala.
