This restaurant was a great place! Definitely amazing food for vegans and vegetarians! Totally authentic, the owner and his wife are both from Ethiopia. Rumor has it the bar next door could be opening up at night here soon..

I loved this place. The food is fantastic. Very high quality food and the portions for the main meal were huge (probably enough for 2 meals for the majority of people). I tried the kufta and chicken plate (with hummus, rice, and salad) as well as the baklava. The chicken was super tender and delicious. The garlic oil sauce gave it extra moisture, but it was already great the way it is. Cooked to perfection. The chunks are a bit big, but easy to eat. The kufta was equally delicious. It had a bit more seasoning than the chicken, which I liked. Once again, great flavors. They give you a fair amount of rice which is very fluffy and well cooked. It came with a vibrant little salad. It was fine, nothing too crazy. I really liked their take on croutons. They were more crispy than the average crouton and added a ton of savory flavor. Great hummus that was creamy and flavorful. Really what set this place apart from others was the service. I was trying to find this place and randomly ran into the owner, who helped me find it. He was very nice and talked to me about his life, the restaurant, the food, and his experiences in Pittsburgh. He even gave me a free drink! What a great guy. All in all, I highly recommend this place. It's run by awesome people and the food is also super tasty. Very reasonable prices, high quality food, and great portions.

We went for office lunch. We placed order over phone and when we reached there it was still not ready. But it was due to heavy crowd on that day I believe. The manager was trying to do his best and take orders. We ordered lamb kebab, shrimp masala, fish masala and Chana with fajitas. Food: taste wise it was good. Lamb could have been better. Fish masala was great. Ambience: Ok OK. Don't expect much with the Ambience. Location: it's on 4th main street road so that is close to our offices. Overall it's good to try.

Can’t imagine a more tender or tastier lamb kabob. Hummus and salad with it were excellent as well, and the bed of rice underneath was perfectly cooked.

Thinking of eating here? Stop thinking and just go. The service is amazing and the food is dance in your seat good. I wasn’t sure what to get and Addi said his curry was the best… he wasn’t wrong. Although, I doubt anything in the menu would disappoint! Just go. You won’t regret it.

This was a great little spot to grab some fast lunch. I got the Kufta and Chicken which came over a really nice dish of yellow rice and included hummus, salad and a pita. I had leftovers, and all that with a drink was just under twenty dollars. I would absolutely come back again!

Delicious and healthy Ethiopian and Mediterranean food! So very happy to find this place! Deliciously seasoned vegetarian, and non-vegetarian food. A choice of rice, or injera with some dishes, and everything was 😋

I have very specific dietary needs. This place was very accommodating to withhold all the carbs from my meal at my request. The steak kabob was delicious and the salad was fresh with homemade vinaigrette dressing. The place is a little hard to find but well worth the search.

Absolutely love this place! Great, authentic food with the best humus I’ve ever had in my life and believe that’s say a lot, for I am well traveled.
