My life is pizza I discovered this pizza over twenty years ago and yet to find any better that the original deluxe we live 2 hours away and travel the 2 hours just to eat here it's the best pizza and breadsticks I've ever had and I've eatin a lot of pizza in my travels absolutely the best 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I have been eating pizza and breadsticks at the restaurant for over 35 years and I live in Bowling Green, KY.
Here, pizzas are not mad; they are built. From a thin crust pizza to the original crust, each pie comes with an old home style tomato sauce with just enough spice to pop in your mouth. Fresh toppings are topped off with more than generous helpings of fluffy, graded mozzarella cheese.
An appetizer of breadsticks drowning in a pol of garlic butter and sprinkled parmesan cheese makes this event memorable each and every time.
BEST PIZZA IN TOWN. I've never had a bad slice from here and all the toppings are always fresh. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The breadsticks are also a must try!
Great deep dish. This is one of the best places for thick crust pizza around town. Super heavy and filling. One of my favorite pizzas.

I read another review that called this pizza "robust" and I could not agree more. Super thick and tasty and I love the thin crust. One slice will make a meal. I also like the sauce not being sweet. Wonderful.

Cheese Sticks. We usually order bread sticks with our pizza, but this time I wanted to try the cheese sticks. OMG! they are delicious!!

This was my first experience with Louisville style pizza and I didn’t know quite what to expect but it was really great . I’m a big fan of Detroit style crust so in being honest a crispier crust is my jam however this place has a lot of the right stuff going on. I started with one of their summer cocktails, tequila with lime and some cherry. Very refreshing. They had a interesting list of summer drinks and I honestly could have tried several , they also have an extensive list of bourbons if that’s your fancy and given the area, it’s fitting. I ordered the beer cheese for a starter and it was good, def did not disappoint and more than enough for a group of 3. Since I was alone and wanting a smaller pizza I customized a 10” which was still more than enough food for several meals ! The crust is dense but not too thick. The sausage was wonderful and crumbly and spread consistently over the pie and the mushrooms were large and really flavorful. I had jalepenos on half and they didn’t skimp. The one and only thing keeping me from giving this pizza 5 stars is the sauce . It was bold and a little sweet BUT I really only got sauce closest to the crust and the sauce really was so dang good! Waitress was great . It was relatively steady on a Thursday night and my wait time was not excessive . Extensive bar offerings , I could hear the bar tender and he was very friendly. If you’re in the area this is a must stop and you’re looking to get your za fix in .
BREAD STICKS! pizza was great too! Anthony is the kind of old fashioned bourbon beverages! We saw everybody eating and having a great time! Good vibes and great food! Do it!
One of the best pizzas in town in my opinion. The dough is fresh and they are generous with toppings. Sounds cheesy but i do think you will be able to tell that it is a better quality pizza on your first bite.
It is a wait to get your pizza— and this is stated on the menu— but i do think it is worth it.
Servers are friendly and the atmosphere is like a local bar/pub. Would definitely recommend.
My husband and I have been coming here for 8 years! We go before hitting up the Jackolantern Spectacular every October. The food is always amazing and there's more than enough to take home. Services we a little slow this time as they were lacking kitchen staff, but our waiter was nice.
First of all, I would be remiss if I didn't say that, "Tyler is the most pleasant server we have ever encountered." He has the best demeanor even when the place is jam-packed. He is always on point, fast, courteous, and always seems to be in a good mood. The food is great and served in generous portions, especially the salad. ((Vegans here)) The atmosphere is relaxed. The overhead music is the bombdigity. 70's and 80's, "thanks to the bartender." What a great time. Make sure you check this place out!!

I consider this excellent pizza and probably the first or second best pizza in town. Deep dish pizzas are enough to feed several people. Their slightly spicy sauce really makes the pizza but they also have very fine fresh ingredients. They have been around a long time in Louisville and with good reason. If you’re in the area and looking for pizza you can’t go wrong here.
Hands down, the best pizza I've ever had. The food was terrific, the staff was super friendly and gave great suggestions and it was overall a great time. Give the Sweet & Spicy Pepperoni a try, it's amazing.
Try it out if you're in Louisville for Louisville style pizza for the novelty of it. I doubt you'll be able to find it elsewhere. Style can be described as heavy on the cheese and toppings but light on the sauce proportionally. Definitely delicious though! Taste is unique to this establishment and doesn't taste like any other pizza I've had so certainly worth trying.
Ordered ahead online and picked it up. Was reading right on time!

I had a great experience at Impellizzeri's. The pizza was delicious, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Italian meal. The server was a Bengals fan, so that made it all even better!!!
