I’ve never had a good experience at a Denny’s, but this time I had a great one.
There was an issue with our original hotel reservation. Somehow, even though we had multiple confirmation emails, they didn’t have us down for a room and didn’t have any availability. After many phone calls, they were able to get us a room at a hotel about 10 minutes away.
By the time we got checked in at the new hotel, it was late and we were tired and hungry. The only place open within walking distance was Denny’s. Even though I’d never had a good experience at a Denny’s, I didn’t have any other options.
When we walked in, we were greeted by a really sweet lady standing behind the cash register. She finished her transaction and got us seated. She brought us our drinks, food, and checked on us a few times. She was fantastic! I was pretty happy with my food too. I usually end up with an upset stomach, but not this time. Everything was delicious and I really enjoyed my food.
This is the only Denny’s I’ll give 5 stars to. They were on point.
The selection of food was excellent! I had chocolate banana pancakes, and it was delicious. The omelette came out perfect! Just how I like! The nachos were good too. Our order came within 10-15mins. Very friendly staff (they don’t accept EBT, May 2022)
The only problem we had was was we went in the they young lady told us that we needed to have mask, We then had to leave go get mask we came back and the sign said or proof of vaccine that we both had our vaccination cards and she could have just said that's all you needed otherwise the service was good. Her manager was excellent I cannot remember his name but he was very cordial and accommodating. She the waitress appeared to not speak English well.
My to go order got switched with someone else’s order. I didn’t find out until I was home. I couldn’t eat most of the food.
It took a while to get through by phone but eventually I spoke to the person in charge. My issue was resolved and I was given a full credit.
I’ve been going to this Denny’s for many years and this was the first time this has happened. I usually always have a good experience. Good food, nice staff.
Stopped at this Dennys on our way back from our family road trip. This place was so warm and friendly. I ordered the All American Slam and it was so well prepared. Coffee was hot and fresh. Martin the manager was so kind and friendly with all of the guests. Such a nice place to visit . Definitely recommend
