Anytime I come to LA I make it a point to go to Hamburger Hamlet. Our waiter was fantastic! My Grandfather bartended there in the early 70's so I have many memories there. Food is ALWAYS amazing! My favorite is the zucchini zircles. I will be back.

I love eating here. It truly is comfort food. I worked for the Hamburger Hamlet on Ventura Blvd, back in the 80's. I was a greeter. So, I greeted Janet Jackson and her on tourage. I worked a private party where I was asked by one of the Jackson's to dance. I did, it was awesome. Those were good times. Whenever I am in the area, I stop by and am never disappointed.

Stopped in for brunch while visiting the area. Great hearty breakfast. Insides way nicer than it seems from road. Spanish chorizo egg mixture was new to me but very good. Can't wait to try their dinner entrees !

Great for a trip down nostalgia lane. Get up going to them in the Washington, DC, area. Still have the best potato skins in the world. And great shakes!

The food is a little expensive for what you get. It's still pretty good food though! It's a place I go to once in a while. Hamburger Hamlet has been around forever, its a neighborhood staple. If you want a great burger, this is a place to go! Service is always reliably good here, and the servers are always happy to help you make decisions about what to get.

My hockey team comes here frequently after our games on Sunday. Never a wait. The staff is always attentive. The lobster bisque is so buttery and delicious!! I also enjoy a good Napa burger with pesto & goat cheese. Good beer selection. Good kid's menu. Great spot for a large group. Being the last remaining Hamlet, I hope it stays open for years to come!

I had the salmon with veggies, which were very nicely done, not limp and soggy like you get at many restaurants. Hubby had the sauteed mushroom burger which he really liked. Nice crisp, thin French fries with that. Would have LOVED to have their lobster bisque soup which I remember from childhood. So yummy. But too many calories. We had wanted a glass of wine, but sadly the Hamlet's liquor license has been suspended, so if you're looking for a drink, don't go here. Wait staff was mostly friendly and accommodating. One annoying thing: you have to prepay for parking in the back lot, but get a validation and they are supposed to refund your money. But when we left, the parking attendant was not there to return our money, so that was $4 added onto our $50 bill. A bit pricey all in all but a pretty good experience overall.

Burger was pretty good, juicy but not too greasy, fresh toppings and well proportioned. The fried onions were decent(I still prefer fatter onion rings), but the mashed potatoes were excellent. Finally found a place that has proper mashed potatoes. Nice and lumpy, not whipped or processed and made from a powder.

Growing up in Southern California, Hamburger Hamlet is one of those classic so cal places that holds many memories. This is the last one standing. Overall, the food is good. Try their onion rings -they are outstanding. The club sandwich is always on the dry side so you have to ask for extra mayonnaise but otherwise a good club sandwich. They serve cocktails beer and wine. The service is always very good. Nice big booths, good air conditioning and great iced tea.

Great salami salad (although it's called something else I forgot.) We are at the bar where the nice lady cracks jokes with my dad. It's vastly improved since I used to go years ago. The prices though ouch but doable for most probably, just not me on a tiny budget ha.

A great place for a hamburger, prime rib, fish, or a really good sandwich. This is the only one that is still operating and you can get a very good milkshake here as well. I would also recommend one of their ice cream sundaes which are amazing. The prices are reasonable, the wait staff is very friendly, and it's a good place to relax and have a good time.

Love the hamburgers.๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ” Great quality. You have to love that 100% Angus beef!๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ If you have room for dessert, Order the large hot fudge sunday! Four scoops of vanilla bean ice cream, tons of whipped cream, Chopped almonds and real melted hot fudge. Don't forget the cherry. They also serve up a four layer chocolate/chocolate cake which will cause you to have an orgasm! They serve beer and wine along with some mixed drinks.
