Rustic cafe tucked in an alleyway. The staff were friendly and food was bought over promotly. The serve desserts, grilled sanwhices, coffee and tea. My suggestion is not to sit too far into the alleyway as I was bitten by quite a few mosquitos and flies kept attacking my food.

Expensive but definitely tasty. The food is delicious with good portions and the staff are hip and knowledgeable.. But good for first time experience.

If you're looking for a nice atmosphere and environment to enjoy a good lunch, this could be the place you want to be! The food here is decent and I love the kick to the sandwiches that have spicy sauce or jalapenos inside! I love eggs so I had to go with the sandwich that had eggs in it! The outside seating area is pretty nice and we just hung out there for a few hours after eating! I would highly recommend if you want a nice relaxing, and serene place to enjoy good company with!

I came to this location to have a lunch with some friends and I was pleasantly surprised! I am an orange county girl so the drive was a bit much but we enjoyed it very much. The chef was super nice and helped put up some extra shade and there were 2 waitresses that were so super sweet and helpful! Great job ladies! The food was mostly toasts and small sandwiches so plan on ordering a couple items. I didn't have the coffee but hubs said the espresso and ice coffee were really good! *A couple tips.... I dont know if there is parking on their street as there was a festival going on that day that closed down the street so know that there was lots of free and paid parking around the block. When you get there, there is no inside seating so you can go down the alley and grab whichever table you want. You walk inside to order and pay and then they will bring you the food. All in all a pretty great visit and I will definitely come back if I am in the area again!

I truly enjoyed myself at the Daily Dose Cafe in the Arts District. The setting is beautiful with the exposed brick facade, the quirky tables and potted plants. The staff was friendly, and the coffee was amazing. Definitely try the Nutella Mocha. Will update this when I try the food options.

Unlike some restaurants where the "daily specials" never really change these literally change almost every day and it's always a unique experience. I also love how creative they get. They mix and match flavors, meats, and textures. It's sandwich foodie heaven. It's great to see that they give their chef a lot of freedom to create and share their awesome creations with us (on top of having an obviously creative chef.) I usually get bored with sandwiches. Bread, meat, cheese, it all starts to taste the same after a while. But what Daily Dose does to a sandwich is what Picasso does to painting. You're not going to find better. My only gripe is there was a ton of flies when we ate outside. They do have inside seating if that bothers you too much.

Food is a bit overpriced, but what u paid is not just food, but the nice dining area design and surroundings

Daily Dose is one of my top 5 cafes to get some studying or work done in LA! the alley is of course picturesque with brick walls covered in floor to roof green ivy, big umbrellas for shade and rustic looking tables. there is also an indoor room with interesting art should you need an outlet. most of all, the workers are great about you staying there a while without hassling you. i knocked off a star because while the drinks and food are good, they are kind of pricey. overall i come here with the expectation to spend ~$20 for a good few hours of studying in a great location.

You can't beat the food and drink here. It is delicious! And the atmosphere is amazing. I always stop by when I am downtown and am sure to see someone I know. Try the daily specials - amazing organic and vegetarian options. Makes me want to move downtown!
