Be prepared to be messy while wating in this lively restaurant that is located at a 3-way traffic junction. Great services and great food. Tasty, delightful, loved everything that were ordered, dungeness crab, shrimps, fried oysters, fried catfish. The rajun cajun sauce was terrific and spicy for med range.
We tried the new onion rings and WOW!!! Definitely get them , you don’t wanna miss out ! Also if you get extra dipping shabang sauce w/Lime and dip them /SO GOOD! Shrimp was delicious as always. We added the sausage and it was a little salty for my taste but good sausage nonetheless. Everything was perfectly cooked and service was extra chipper , we loved it ! Always a good time , Thank you
Affordable price is a plus, but almost a half of the shrimp is not fresh. We tried Cajun and garlic sauces but they are almost indistinguishable. The drunken crab in Santa Barbara is much better
my favorite restaurant! I wanted my son to try this seafood dish, so was able to go there with him, and he seemed to like it. (We ordered a pound of shrimp with whole shabang sauce )I also ordered chicken tenders, but they were dry and hard. It was disappointing absolutely no flavor with the additional corn. But overall I really enjoyed it! I look forward to go there it again
It's my favorite, but the quality of food is dropping by time, friendly staff, yet they got busy and you to wait for any to pass you, shrimps, not easy to peal, it should be cleaned, the black line over it back ( Digestive tract) " shrimp poop" for those who dont know should be removed , shrimps must be deveined, king crab legs was amazing, and the rest of the food really good
🦀Delicious seafood and ice cold beverages are what you can expect at the Boiling Crab! The food was on point as usual. However on this particular visit we had an amazing experience with one of the waiters! Isaac had a great personality and gave us a wonderful story about his facial scar. It’s super cool and shaped like a question mark, which makes you want to ask the question… How did you get that scar? He said he like when people ask, so if you get him as you waiter, ask him! Always a lot going on but the staff was attentive and the food came quickly. I highly recommend.
The fried squid was nice! The crab and shrimp were fresh.
Miss the vibe of the boiling crab.
Brian is the man with the plan here. It’s so chill here cool AC tvs everywhere and kid friendly. I enjoy 1lb of shrimp sha bang medium and 1 link omg delicious. If I’m feeling really good I’ll add some mussels.
The food was good. The service was excellent. Everything came out hot and fast. We ordered 10 lbs of crawfish, 5 lbs of shrimp, 5 lbs of mussels, 2 lbs of clams, and bunch of corn and sausages. The waiter put half of the order in and waited to put the other half when we finished so the food can come out fresh and hot which we appreciated. The only con was that the crawfish had a lot of seasoning on the bottom, so it was a little salty for the bottom ones. Overall great spot.
I used to love The Boiling Crab. I stopped going because of the long wait times and the lack of reservations. However, while driving, I spotted one with no line out the door! When we walked up, we were able to sit right away! My jaw dropped in both excitement and confusion haha.
My family always gets our usual. Clams, shrimp, potatoes, and corn with the whole sha-bang sauce. We also ordered a side of fries and rice. Everything came out in good time and was delicious! My only annoyance was that they didn’t have any lemons. Ugh! They had limes but it just wasn’t the same flavors. It sounds minor, but lemon just really makes the flavors pop.
The service was great and our waters were constantly being refilled. The ambiance was nice. They had a basketball game playing so hubby was in his element.
If we are always lucky to be sat right away, then I might start coming back on a regular lol. Will see.
