Nice place to grab a slice of pepperoni pizza after a gig. Casual atmosphere but the service is hit and miss.
Fantastic pizza. First off don't pay any attention to the New Yorker's on the board. I love NY pizza (and yes you can get it in L.A.---FROM THE MULTITUDE OF NEW YORKER'S THAT MOVE THERE AND START PIZZA PLACES IDIOTS!). Second and more importantly Little Toni's is not NY pizza nor is it attempting to be really. The pizza is fantastic and very high quality. You can get the dough rolled thick at no extra cost (which is recommended). I've eaten pizza in a lot of different places in my life, a whole lot. I think Little Toni's is the best I've had. I no longer live in L.A. and it's one of the things I miss most about being there. Wonderful pizza.
Great Pizza open til 2am~!. Wanna great pizza at 1:30am in the East Valley? Where you gonna go Little Toni's of course. This place is the classic Italian Restaurant with all the good stuff you want, without the high prices and attitude you get at some of the other joints in the neighborhood. It's dark with big red booths, close to Universal Studios/Amplitheater and to all the NoHo theaters, I say GO!
Is there a better pepporoni pizza?. I think not!!!
Great for the family. My folks used to take my here back in the seventies and now I take my family. Nice dark atmosphere, not a typical trendy california pizza place. Always good pizza and good service, another Valley landmark.
We love little Tony’s pizza. We love the antipasto salad. Excellent service & amazing food. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in town. We tend to eat here every time we visit LA since we live in San Diego.
Little Toni's, a North Hollywood staple, is where you go to satiate that inner void only carbs can fill, in portions so generous you'd think they're trying to prep you for hibernation. The service was a little slow but the host and server were very kind. However, let’s starting with their spaghetti and meat sauce, it's as if they've mistaken your plate for a pasta boat, sailing on a red sea of their thick, rich sauce, with a cargo heavy enough to make a lesser vessel capsize.
But the true star of the show is their lasagna, a dish that could easily be the edible equivalent of a warm blanket on a cold night. It's layers upon layers of pasta, cheese, and meat, constructed with the precision of a master architect. Each slice is a hearty, weighty testament to traditional Italian comfort food, with meatballs that are less like mere spheres of meat and more like flavor planets, dense with taste and orbiting a sun of savory, homemade sauce.
In short, Little Toni's doesn't just serve a meal; they serve a gustatory experience akin to a bear hug from an Italian grandmother, leaving you not only incredibly full but also wondering if any other lasagna will ever match up. It's the culinary equivalent of a symphony where the meatballs are the drums, the sauce is the strings, and each forkful creates a harmonious melody that resonates long after the last note is played.
Love this spot! If you know NOHO, you know this place! Everything here is good. Service is excellent, super friendly. This trip in, we had the Spinach and Artichoke Dip and a Pizza. You can’t go wrong here. Great food and great people! Can’t wait to come back!
This place has been here for a long time even before Covid. The atmosphere could use some sprucing up but it does have that nostalgic charm.
They have drink and food specials often but you have to visit and check out their blackboard. Also, there is a bar area (small) with a happy hour M-F 5-7pm & 10-11:30pm.
I had the Vegetali ($15.95) which is spaghetti with your choice of mushroom, broccoli or asparagus. I picked asparagus. The sauce is olive oil and garlic butter (not listed is chili pepper flakes, so if you don’t like it too spicy then request to your liking).
We had a party of four and they served us two loaves or bread sprinkled with sesame seeds on top and butter. There are healthy portions throughout and the prices are reasonable. The place is clean but there was a stray wedge of lemon by our table which was not picked up the entire time we were there.
Food was flavorful and no one had anything negative to say since we were all too busy eating… aside from the chili flakes that I had to send back and have them remake (I can’t do too spicy) all the meals were delicious!
I come here on occasion when I am in the area and have been eating here for more than 9 years. Try their pizza, it is pretty darn good. I also recommend their half and half choices (I.e. ravioli and spaghetti) if you can’t decide and are trying this place out for the first time. Sauce is good and even better the next day if you have the need to take some home.
NOTE: I did not get a picture of the half and half which was half ravioli and half spaghetti with meat sauce.
TIP: Parking is limited but there is also parking across the street.
Wow, what a great place, I am sure locals know how good Toni’s is but being from out of town you never know. We had four different dishes and they were all awesome. Portions were enough to bring some home for lunch the next day. Our server, Deanna, made the meal even more special. We are looking forward to coming back to try the pizza. Thank you.
They’re open late (till 12am)!! That’s a huge plus! They have so many options that it’s easy to find something you’ll like. Pizza looked delicious, pasta plates had plentiful portions and included a bevy of sides. Definitely will be back!
The food was good, not the best I’ve had or anything inspiring, but solid Italian comfort food with a good ambiance, service, and home cooked feeling.
How did I not know about this awesome place?! The Pizza was spot on... the Spaghetti w/ meat sauce was delicious and the meatballs tasted as though my Nonna made them!
Joseph behind the bar is amazing.
Definitely worth the drive over the hill!
Little Tonis has always been consistent and amazing. We've been coming here for years with family and friends. Our favorite is the family special where you get bread, salad, pasta and pizza. Who can beat that. We will continue to be coming here for years to come.
Came in on Tuesday night for dinner. This is my favorite local Italian American pizza joint. My party of 3 was promptly seated at a booth. The ambiance is really nice here. We got calamari fritti, a caprese salad, and a medium Toni's special with fresh garlic. All of the food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait too long for it considering they seemed a little bit understaffed but what restaurant isn't these days. We also got a slice of cheese cake and tiramisu for dessert.
