This is my go-to spot for ice cream when I'm in the area. Not only is the food great, but all of the employees are super upbeat and cool. If you're there, ask for Luca. He makes great conversation and seems to really know what he's doing when it comes to recommending items. Hoping to run into him again next time!
Good service. Very clear and gentle taste, freshly made GELATO. I liked Chocolate Mint very much.
Afogato was on point. Perhaps the best I have had in years. $6 was a bit steep but comparable offering at the farmers market I felt I spent it well.
Had the raspberry one and it was refreshing after a long day of walking and adventure. Great portion size.
I typically do not go for traditional ice cream flavors as they usually disappoint. This is my exception! My co-workers had me try their affogato...it was a sweet and pleasantly bitter flavor bomb! The contrast between the hot espresso and cold vanilla ice cream was heavenly.
The Italian ice here is exceptionally flavorful and surprisingly not ice-y in consistency.
Their mint chip wasn't toothpaste-y like other places. It's the most delicious version of mint chip ice-cream I've ever had!
And finally, their classic vanilla was classically, luxuriously yummy.
Few flavors to choose from, but it tastes great! If you love ice-cream, you will realize the texture is purely ice-cream, not gelato. It tastes like it’s homemade and i love that their scoops are generous, unlike haagendaz. Also, you can try the flavors prior to choosing which one you want which not every ice-cream/gelato spot allows.
4.5 stars would be the accurate rating for me. Delicious ice cream overall - had the bananas foster and the strawberry and would have them both again. The .5 star is because I thought it was a bit pricy and because they charged me for an extra tiny cup, which to is a bit stingy for a place that is slightly overprice already. Nonetheless, I would still go back there for the quality of the ice cream.
Literally the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Every time im in LA I always make it a point to stop by Local Ice! I actually dream of it when it’s been a long time since I’ve visited! It is so clean and perfect and the mango ice is insane!!
