Haven’t been back here in a minute, but the food is just as amazing as it ever was. Shoutout to the two guys working there on Sunday 10/8 at 5pm. My doner kebab sandwich was probably the best version I’ve had so far from this place. These guys deserve a raise!
I enjoyed my vegan falafel and fries. Love the sauerkraut and fresh veggie on the rice plate. The service is very friendly and helpful.
German here 🙋♂️ I am living in the US since half a year and was on the hunt for an authentic Döner. While it is not quite as good as it is in Germany (bread and some veggies are different), it is still amazing! Best Döner I had outside of Germany.
Döner with lamb and fries were 19 bucks, which is totally fair for LA.
Hands down, they have the best doner kebab sandwich with an amazing sauce at the side, if you are around the Beverly Center you should try their Doner box, it is absolutely amazing 💯
Love this place! Im from Ohio and always come here every time I visit LA. The doner sandwich with beef & lamb is my favorite, its so delicious I crave it! I add Feta for another $1. Staff is always helpful and friendly. I will be back every time!
UPDATE: finally back 2 yrs later and Berlins is better than I remember. Words don't do justice. Get the doner Sandwich.

For 15 years I have been seeking a German style döner. This is it. Everything is perfect. The bread, veggies, sauces and meat are absolutely delicious. Each element is essential, probably the bread most of all. You can't buy this type of bread in a store as far as I know.
FINALLY, a place worthy of return. In fact, if they opened up anywhere near San Francisco, I'd probably eat there every single day.
Give it up for the owners of this place. Please come to the SF Bay Area. I'll be the biggest hype man.
I‘m German, working in the US for over a year now, and I’ve been trying to get a good Döner in every big city I’ve visited so far. This one is the first authentic German Döner I’ve found in the whole US so far! Thanks a lot for your service, keep it up!
I love the food here! I always get the Doner Falafel Sandwich. Their original sauce is delightful! The staff is always friendly here. There is 70 mins free parking. It’s always clean, nice music playing and has an outdoor area too. No bathroom
A no frills gyro/döner/shawarma place.
While LA has tons of amazing food, getting good gyro is not a trivial pursuit. When compared to the East Coast the options are actually really limited.
I got to try out Berlins quite a few years ago when they had a location on the Venice Beach boardwalk. While that location is now closed I was very happy to discover this one when I happened to visit a store nearby.
It's quick and reasonably priced. On top of that, it is actually good gyro that comes in a toasted bread. What's not to like?
This place is amazing. It's far from me so I don't go often but try and make the pilgrimage a few times a year when we go to Grove or lacma. Amazing doner, bread and sauces. My kids split the fries and doner meal.
