It's been a while since I've been to this establishment. But let me tell you it did not disappoint. They really got their cooking down guys.
The food was delicious, service was excellent
This place is wheelchair accessible, as always the bathroom 🚻
Loved this place and is a perfect stop to hit up before a dodgers game. Their ceviche was stop fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend trying the flaming margarita as well.
🙏Valet Parking because why don you want to waste time looking for parking, right? I was there with my friend and we were seated at the bar while we waited for a table to open. So we had Flaming Margaritas heyyyyy!!! 🍹 The atmosphere is great! Dodger Fans good spot to stop by before or after a job. Once we were seated we ordered food and it was delicious 😋 overall a great place.
Came here with a large group from work.
The food was delicious, everyone was served at the same time so we could all start eating together and while the food was still hot. Service was excellent, bathrooms are super clean, the music was beautiful and just at the right volume. Wait staff were excellent and the overall atmosphere was great. Always have a great experience coming here . One of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles
Love love love this spot. I’ve been here probably 10 times in four years. It’s the go to for a pre dodgers game happy hour and meal. The flaming margaritas are a blast. There is usually a 15-30 min wait but you can grab a drink at the bar. Everything on the menu is good. I love you El Compadre!
This is a fun restaurant. They have colorful twinkle lights inside. It is a cute place that has local sports playing in the bar. They have a photographer there if that's your thing. They have live music, I'm not 100% sure when but after 7 on Saturday is when they started the other night. It is close to Dodgers Stadium in Echo Park. We like the food and enjoy the atmosphere.
GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS- El Compadre never fails. The food is amazing the flamingos margs pack a punch, and the staff is always super nice. We like to come here before dodgers games. Some nights there is a live mariachi band. Have never had a meal we didn’t love. Portions are big.
a bustling and colorful place, great food and flaming drinks, however, service level depends on who the waiter is
Both waiter (Ben) and busboy(Jose) were the best. Not pushy, but keeping drinks(water included)replenished. Potato taco ( al a carte) and chile relleno (al a carte) were so good. Love music was ok. Expected more for Cinco de mayo
This is classic Mexican-American food. Started with a basket of tortilla chips and a just right salsa. A little kick, nice consistency. I went with the combo #1. El Padrino. A small steak, cheese enchilada and a beef taco. With rice, beans and a small side of guacamole. There's the before and after photos. Steak was cooked nicely medium rare. Enchilada sauce was very tasty and cheese very gooey. Taco might have been a little over cooked, but it was full of flavor. Guac was awesome. I did add a little salsa to it. Rice and beans also good. Extensive menu. I'll be back to try a few items, like the carnitas. Maybe the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo and the Steak Tampiquena or Steak and Shrimp. As a start!
It's a little noisy, but in a festive way and service was a little slow, but it was packed at 6pm on a Wednesday.
