Good Brews. After surviving an all day heat wave at USC orientation, we found a nice respite here to recover in. Nice selection of beers and the only place I've seen Boddington ale on tap outside of England! And was it ever delicious! The appetizers were pretty good too.

With few chalk blackboards around the room, the places maintains the school theme. Even the restrooms and menus, which are presented on clipboards,

The food is delicious! Portions are on the smaller side, and items are served by themselves without sides. Three salmon tacos are served alone without rice or beans. Burgers served without fries. I had the burger that was cooked to a medium perfection. The bacon paired with the garlic aioli sauce was divine. My party of 4 came on a Wednesday at 7pm and they were busy. We got a table right away but waited a little longer than I would have liked for our beers to arrive, like 15+ minutes. Our food was delivered faster than the bar service. While our waitress was apologetic for the wait, it's the reason I'm giving four stars instead of five. This is a convenient spot if you're attending a concert at The Shrine, which is the reason we ate there. I'd go back.

This place is cool AF. I’ve been here two or three times, but this is the first time I review it. I was here for the Rams v. Saints game and I had a great time. The ambience is nice, and even though it’s a college hangout spot, it still keeps a cool level of sophistication. The “bar food” is elevated and prices are reasonable. As far as the food goes, we ordered (see pictures) the spinach dip and that was amazing. The little croutons they give you to dip with are out of this world highly recommend it. We also tried the nachos with steak and that was just as good. It’s rare that you find such good food from a college bar, but the steak was perfectly cooked and the whole thing was seasoned as if it belonged in a high end Mexican restaurant. The wings were not far behind, we had the Thai chicken wings. the only problem with those was that we wanted more but we had to leave to go to the game. We washed it all down with a bucket of beers and a few cocktails. The beer was fine, just bottled Modelo, and the cocktails were good by all accounts. Whenever we’re in the area, we’ll come back to this spot. It’s legit. The food is top notch, the cocktails are good and the beer doesn’t cost you an arm an a leg. Definitely give it a try!

Food was great. Drinks were slow but arrived just before /after our meals were brought out. Ordered my flat Iron steak medium and it came out that way. The portion was a little small, but otherwise very good.

Limited vegan options but good nonetheless. The edamame was superb! I couldn't stop eating it! Servers are friendly. Music can get a little loud, making it tough to have conversations without raising your voice or straining to listen to others that aren't right in front of you.

Good food, although it was $18 for a burger with no side.. it was really cold because the patio doors were open..

The ambience is cosy and very nice, located just by the university campus, and close enough to the California science centre to come for lunch if you're planning a visit there and don't want to eat at their cafe. The decor is science inspired, as the name suggests but that's as far as they go with the lab theme. The offer is good, as the quality of food (I had the best fries with a ton of guac over, and the portion was big enough for two!). The staff is friendly and professional, and the service faster than the average. It's a bit on the expensive side, but just slightly above the average for a lunch place.
