This is the best spot in Los Angeles. Every time we come to LA we have to visit this place. Yesterday we were running late and arrived at closing time. The owner still served us. They really did not rush us and let us enjoy their amazing setting and food. Great service and the best food !
Took my Mom here after mass and we absolutely enjoyed it. Sunday lunch is a very busy time to be in this place so please be patient when it comes to being seated. They were also very short staffed earlier so our wait time was longer than usual. Serving is really huge, we still brought food for to go. Everything we ordered was also very good - from our meals to our desserts! Pro tip: ORDER CALAMANSI JUICE! Super refreshing.
Wow! Get your taste buds ready! We ordered the garlic rice, lechon & guanabana drink.
The lechon is tender with a crispy skin, chefs kiss! ✨ The rice is seasoned just perfectly.
This cute establishment nailed it! 🙌🏼
We cannot wait to return.
10-15 minute wait with no reservation.
Food is best shared family style. Didn't feel rushed. A little short staffed but the family affair made it worthwhile. 100% recommend to share simple but delicious filipino cuisine. Had the Buchon with mixed veggies and garlic rice (upcharge) but worth it!
GO! If you’re in LA and you’re looking for some authentic Filipino comfort food, this is the place for you.
Prices generally range from $17-$20ish per person so it’s not exactly fast food prices.
Items ordered:
Pork Sisig: 10/10
- perfectly roasted and seasoned pork
Longanisa: 9/10
- I got the spicy and sweet longanisa. The links weren’t too salty which was good because it was complemented by the garlic rice
Pancit Palabok: 7/10
- very good, not the best I’ve ever had, but would still recommend
Mango and pineapple cheese rolls:6/10
- I ate them cold after the drive home so they weren’t too good. Kinda airy and not sweet enough
Gulaman at Sago:10/10
- words cannot describe. if u like sweet tea and boba, this is gonna knock you out of your seat
The only con to this restaurant is that they seem to be a little short staffed and service was not super attentive, but at the same time, it’s a mom and pop shop so it’s expected. If you go during a time that isn’t too busy then the service is no problem
10/10 would recommend
Great authentic Filipino food! I’m adding this restaurant to my books. Great tasting food. Establishment is clean and staff is friendly and accommodating. Also they have bakery goods and sell their own sauces. I recommend this place.
One of the best Filipino restaurants in Los Angeles. Love the vintage atmosphere. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Street parking only. Must try their halo-halo.
Delicious Filipino food with warm and friendly service. They treated you like family.
Loved the bangus, dessert and all the vegetable dishes. Will definitely return! Salamat.
L.A. Rose Cafe is a MUST whenever I'm in the area. The buchon with garlic rice is amazing but the star dish at this restaurant is the fried milk fish!!! Get the milk fish every time and some calamansi!
BEST Restaurant in Los Angeles. Pang-MICHELIN Star taste Filipino Cuisine. Ambience inside is like European. Super delicious, special, Traditional and Authentic. Treasure that all must try...
