Very nice staff, all Indians. Traditional Indian cuisine. Everything tasty and well done. Affordable compared to other Indian restaurants in LA.

Ordered in to hotel while on business trip. it met all the criteria--decent food and quick delivery. Food was decent and fresh. i was charged for rice, too.

nice people though.

Bollywood Cafe is apparently, a chain (of the small and local variety). I’ve been around places like this all my life. The restaurant this reminds me of was Hunan Treasure in suburban Maryland. Big nice space for diners, who never came all that much, but there was practically a line going out the door for To-Go orders.

This is a nice and cosy Indian restaurant, the decor has a retro vibe with very nice table settings, cloth napkins and table cloths, the staff was very pleasant and paint with us, I don’t love cilantro (coriander) and I forget to ask for it to be removed when ordering, I asked a couple of minutes later and they accommodated me. We ordered, the Onion Pakora was good one was a little more well done then the other. The Garlic Naan was incredible, lots of garlic, the crispy bottom and the soft and chewy bread, I’m drooling as I write this, get this naan. I love Peshwari Naan, it was good to try different takes, this was more coconut with less raisin based, it was less sweet then other peshwari then I tried. The dishes were amazing, a little bit more then we could finish. The rice was so good as well, I don’t think enough focus is ever put on the rice because it’s a little over shadowed by the curry, but there rice was tasty and solid.

It was a pleasant experience here. Parked behind the restaurant. Walked in to a simple arrangement of tables, got a seat quick enough as there was no rush. Order was brought in pretty quick and was delicious enough. Naans are possibly one of the best I tasted till date. Curries were a bit bland and could do better. Mango lassi was good too. Would not miss a second chance if I had to go back. If you are in the area for Universal Studios and want an Indian dish for dinner, you should try this place.

First time eating here. We ordered the Tandoori Dinner special for 2. The taste was pretty good and the portion was large (it is easily enough for 3, maybe even 4). The dining space is small but comfortable, we went late on a Saturday and it was not crowded at all. We totally missed that dessert was included in the price of the special and misunderstood when we were offered dessert. We said no, to which the waiter asked if we wanted it to go, and we thought he was trying to get us to order (we would have loved to if we hadn’t been so full!) 😩😅 (we only realized about this when reading the menu again online lol…I wish the waiter would have been more clear but then again it’s more our fault than his). Anyhow, despite this, it was a good experience. We will be back and hopefully they keep their 5 star rating. (Maybe if the restaurant reads this, could we get dessert for free next time? 😅🤭)

A friend of mine who has lived in LA for a while recommended this place as one of his favorite Indian restaurants after having gone to quite a few and we came here tonight as a group and the food was delicious!! Fresh and hot. Recommend the mango lassi to finish off the meal. Clean environment!

Authentic Indian Cuisine located in Studio City, true flavors of India, chicken tandoori, lamb roganjosh, shrimp tikka masala, malai kofta vegetarian curry, all in tasty exquisite sauce and spices, the finest dahl, manggo chutney, fresh garlic naan and for dessert kulfi - pistachio and manggo ice cream and gulab jamun....transports you to India! Worth it!

The best and most authentic Indian food in this city. Top notch service and ambiance, they go out of their way to ensure your utmost comfort. I recommend ordering everything medium or hot, you just don’t taste the complexities of the food and spices otherwise. I take a Pepcid and a Beano beforehand, haha. Indian food is my true comfort food, when I want something satisfying and delicious, I come here.

Found this little place in Hollywood and thought lets try it. Cozy ambiance with good service (parking available at the back of restaurant). Food we ordered (chicken curry and naan) was great, price nominal. Overall I found this to be a good option for tourists around Hollywood who wanna eat Indian food. Just one complaint - I wish the drinks mentioned in the menu were there. Missed that!!

The food here is quite good. Good complex traditional spices and flavors. Get it as hot as you can stand. The heat works with the other spices and balances the sweet and pungent flavor profiles of Indian cooking. The vegetarian dinner for two is a weekly staple at our place. Easily 2-3 meals worth of food for two people. So it’s a great deal. Plus it always tastes even better the next day!

My wife and I have tried all the Indian food around us and it was too expensive or too small of servings. We found this place and it wasn't too far. The food was great I love getting lamb vindaloo, and she loves her Tikka masala. We always get naan and rice. Our one complaint was we ordered rice and the app said "it was enough for 2" but it was barely enough for 1 person.
