Will you eat there at least once a month sometimes more. The food is delicious, the surface is great, perfect for families. They have an outside patio and have wonderful chimichurri sauce. We usually order

There roasted chicken in a lemon sauce, and every time we order it the food is consistently good. It's a go to place for my husband and I and also our family.

I was walking around for awhile & stumbled across this place. I read the menu & some of the reviews, then went in :) I really enjoyed the provelenta. It was amazing. This was my second time eating Argentinian, & now I’m obsessed.

Since having visited Argentina for the first time in 2010 and experienced the pure bliss that is Argentine cuisine, I'd all but given up on finding good, authentic Argentine meals in Los Angeles (how hard can it be to serve empanadas!!??) Luckily, with two locations, Lala's Argentine Grill does more than enough to satisfy any cravings for delicious Argentine dishes.

Star 1 - How was the service and atmosphere?

Lala's combines a classy comfortable atmosphere with an authentic staff originally from Argentina, and it's pretty damn hard to go wrong with a combo like that. My party's server was brilliant, the staff attentive, and the food quick. Star Granted.

Star 2 - How were the portions relative to the cost?

It seems as though less-common cuisine in Los Angeles often suffers the curse of being grossly over-priced, and while my meal was on a friend's dime for his birthday, I was dreading seeing $8 empanadas and $25 pasta dishes. Surprisingly, Lala's really impressed me with an extremely reasonably-priced and balanced menu. With empanadas well under $5 each, basic pasta and meat dishes between $10-$12 and upscale steaks hovering around $30 per person, Lala's is affordable enough to be a weekly outing. Opting for a splurge-sesh by getting the 29oz. Plata de Carnas, my $50 shared feast came with two sides and enough food to easily feed four.

With one of the best balanced menus I've seen in some time, Lala's shines in the value department. Star Granted.

Stars 3/4 - How was the food?

Wow. Ever had a steak that you could cut without even using a knife? Let me tell you, it's absolutely brilliant, as was my entire meal. While I was ever so slightly disappointment that the empanadas were Tucuman-style (deep fried) as opposed to Salta-style (baked), nutrition tends to go right out the window when eating out, and in this case, I was absolutely fine with it. From my feast of steaks to the cutlets, chicken dishes and sandwiches ordered by others in my party, my meal was brilliant from top to bottom, and was only bettered by the brilliant sides (French Fries and Mashers with Mushroom Gravy - YUM). This is a meal I won't forget for quite some time. Dual Stars Granted.

Star 5 - Would you eat it every day if you could?

Empanadas? Dishes ranging from sandwiches to pasta to steak? Reasonable prices with authentic service? This is a no-brainer, and even if you've never been to Argentina, or don't particularly crave Argentinian on a regular basis, you need to pay Lala's Argentine Grill a visit. STAT. Star Granted.

It was great a few years back, but the food quality and service have slipped. Hopefully they'll improve things.

Good... Thats it. Not amazing or particularly comfortable. The service is ok. But the food is always good. Great rice, great bread, good salmon...Just a good meal. I like it and it is super inexpensive.

The perfect getaway.... Lala's is seriously the perfect restaurant. Not only is the service AH-mazing, the food is incredibly yummy and inexpensive. On top of that... there's something about that makes you feel like you've escaped Los Angeles for just a small period of time. And yes, I love this city - but sometimes we all need to get away and Lala's gives that experience... GO TODAY!

we had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The rib-eye steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. We couldn’t get enough of it! The chicken dish was also delicious, and we were impressed with the variety of options on their menu. The staff were incredibly friendly and treated us like old friends, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. They were knowledgeable about the dishes and offered great recommendations. The service truly enhanced our dining experience. Moreover, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer complimentary bread, which was warm and delightful. The chimichurri sauce served with the meal was the perfect accompaniment and added an extra burst of taste. Highly recommended

Yep. Real good. Some of the best chimichurri I've ever had. Meat is great. Sandwich bread is toasty. This is an excellent place for any time of day.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant because it used to be the best Argentina restaurant in LA. The plates are big and very affordable. The quality of food has changed. It's not like 4 years ago when I ate here . The service has also changed. I waited for a bit to get a menu because my waiter was busy. but other waiters were standing doing nothing I asked for menu they said go back to the table you will get one. Instead of bringing it to me. I had to wait until my waiter brought one . They put the bread and the chimichurri on the table without serving water first. I almost choke and I had no water. The chicken didn't have the the same taste as before it was more plain the mashed potatoes were cold.

Delicious! I got the chicken milanesa plate it was perfect. They had a spicy chimichuri sauce also delicious. Service was great never, they checked in on us at perfect time and were really nice. The drinks are also a hit, strong and good like I like them. 10 out of 10 recommend.

By far the best restaurant, the only negative review I can provide you is that the melrose location is still closed for renovations. It makes me travel longer distance to go there when I crave good steak and sometimes I don't go cause it's further. The last updated opening date is December 2023. Other than that. Great service. Food is delicious and lastly. Prices are reasonable. It's one of those restaurants that when you leave. Your looking forward for the next time you go back there.

This food had me speechless. We ordered a million things and not a single thing disappointed. Everything is SO GOOD. The big grill thing whatever it’s called is worth it so I def recommend getting it. God I can’t wait to come back here. And the ambiance is great too. Don’t. Sleep.

Absolutely scrumptious! My first time visiting but I’ll definitely be back. The food was delicious and hearty servings. We ate outside on the patio and had a great experience. The servers came through frequently to check on us.
