We were happy to find a parking spot right away. The place was buzzing. We noticed a set up for a big party that showed up later. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing. Music was not Persian but blended with the space. We sat close to the kitchen burner windows but it was not hot. We enjoyed watching the chefs cook and the flames go low and high. The place was very clean and the servers were very friendly and they looked like they were enjoying their job… thumbs up to the owner. The plate portions were huge🥰. If you haven’t skipped a meal in the day, you won’t be able to finish your plate. The chicken kabob was flavorful and tender, the zereshk rice was so different and tasteful. I would recommend you order different dishes and share. I’m certainly coming back to this place again.
First timer with the family in tow. Everyone LOVED it. Our local Persian restaurant died of Covid so when we found this place on our out of state vacation it was a must try. Fast service, food arrived hot and tasty. The place was clean and the staff was competant and friendly. Really love this place. And that's coming from a pizza and wing guy!
The food was delicious in a charming atmosphere. The service was excellent and Kudos to our server Farshid who took his time to explain and help us with the best choice of food on the menu. Can't wait to come back soon.
Great food, super friendly and attentive staff! We had a great dinner! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I loved every bite of my lamb neck, which was tender, juicy, and flavorful and served in such a tasty broth. The rice was fluffy and aromatic and delicious. The staff was great and super helpful. They gave us excellent recommendedations and made us feel welcome and appreciated. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu. Shanshiri grill is one of my favorite places to eat in town!
Kabobs are excellent. Dessert is decent as well. The chocolate raspberry was out of this world. The bamieh(okra stew) was pretty good. Service is little slow on weekends.
Pictures: complimentary bread, masto khiar, beef shamshiri, rack of lamb kabob, mango givree, chocolate cake, joojeh kabob, Persian ice cream, bamieh with lamb shank, chocolate raspberry.
Very nice restaurant especially for their lunch specials like the lamb shank which is my favorite. The meat is so soft and tender, just falls off the bone. It was very busy and the service was still just fine. I highly recommend shamshiri grill!
Good Persian food. A bit on the pricey side but it is ok since food has a good quality.
Also open kitchen concept. You can see the Mexican chefs hard at work
Went here for dinner after spending the day at the Hammer. The place was packed but we got seated immediately. We tried Kashk-e-Bademjaan which is an eggplant dip with caramelized onions, garlic and sour cream. It was so good. I ordered a lamb kebab plate. The meat was so juicy and tender it almost melted in my mouth. Some of the best kebabs I have eaten. My partner got barramundi kebabs along with the sour cherry rice that was delicious. They serve big portions so come hungry and ready to eat !!
Came here last minute on Sunday afternoon, was pretty busy but got seated right away. Started off ordering the combination appetizer platter which consisted of baba ganoush, dolmeh, okhiar, hummus & falafel very heavy so if you cant digest beans very well it will stay with you awhile. For the entree we had lamb shank and it was pretty good but the appetizer really filled us up so had to take it togo. All and all it was a good meal. Service was okay but they need to be more knowledgable of the menu so they can have the answers to customers question but they were nice!
Fantastic, the thing is don’t know how it gets better every time?
Dine in or take out it, stew or shank… This is the best lamb in town..
For a budget try the lunch specials.
