We absolutely Love the Whaler! We never have a bad experience and the food is amazing! Our waitress, Jack, was Soo attentive even though the place was packed! We also want to compliment the bus boy and all of the staff as they were on point with all of the guests. And lastly, we cannot say enough about the manager, Amanda, who worked the patio to assure us all a great time! We Thank you all!! :)
Have the classic margarita (it nearly blew my head off) and the cheese pizza! The rosemary on the cheese pizza just took it up a notch!!

I sat outside and the waitress was very friendly. You could definitely tell that the staff, from the top down, really care about their customers.
One of the security members that checks IDs stated that their system checks to see if you have warrants. I found that to be interesting. I don't how true that was or if he was just messing with me.
The atmosphere was neat as well. It was clean and very lively. I could see this place really being live on weekends and other prime nights.
The bathrooms were nice too. There were actual doors making them feel very private.
Overall, this was a very well-rounded place from what I experienced, even though I did not eat.
Busy Venue with a roof top bar that looks over the Venice Beach Pier. Fantastic for those desired sunsets shots.
Service was prompt even though it was happy hour and Friday.. Food was as good as you could expect with a mix of happy hour specials and regular priced items.
Defintely worth a visit..
Cute lunch spot right next to the beach. Tried Cobb salad and lobster roll, both were great. For casual dining, it got really busy on weekends
Food was great. Tried my first Lobster Roll. The bar tender was very friendly. Killer views, took my breath away.

Weekdays 15.00-18.00 Happy hour, great prices for some selected snacks and drinks. Also a perfect view of venice beach from the roof top
Best place in Venice hands down. A little pricey for a quick meal but the portion sizes are worth it. 20 second walk to the beach so the atmosphere is great. Service is amazing, even if it's busy they still get to you in a timely manner and they'll charge your phone for you if you're on a 15 hour layover and have nowhere to go. Overall fantastic experience every time I go here.
Ashley, I believe, was an amazing waitress. She was a good server and so kind and personable. She even gave me a good beach recommendation (also, the restaurant is right on a beach). I love it here.
Ocean view on the 2nd floor patio, nice american style pub and dishes. Also all staffs are nice.
They will not let you wear your skates to sit OUTSIDE, but they let dogs sit in chairs made for people. NASTY. Food is fine. Service is good. Logic is LACKING.
