Located right on the corner, southwest of the intersection. I was surprised they had a full bar. Decent amount of seating and a couple tables outside. You definitely see inflation present with the price of a burger and doesn’t even include fries, but the taste and texture was amazing. I would’ve have liked to try one of their shakes, maybe next time. I really liked their onion rings. Service was excellent. They don’t have their own parking lot, so good luck there. We were lucky enough to find street parking not too far.

Extremely cute diner in the heart of K-Town with an awesome retro vibe. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. I would give this a 5/5, but for $16 I don’t think the cheeseburger was worth it, nor the best burger in town. The menu is a bit overpriced, but the food is good.

Famous for having one of the best Patty Melts in all of LA, as well as some of the best burgers, I have been to Cassell’s for lunch and dinner many times, however, this weekend I tried breakfast for the first time. I think their burgers are terrific, they have a great char on them and are different from the smash burgers that are very popular in LA right now. Service was extremely fast and polite and all of our items came out pretty quickly. They don’t have dedicated parking however, street parking in this area is pretty easy, we were able to find a space directly across the street for a Saturday brunch. Cassell’s is the typical American diner and has all the classics. Being breakfast it was a bit different and hard to choose because they had a lot of great options. We ended up choosing the Breakfast Burger, the French Toast, and had to do a Cherry Coke and side of Sweet Potato Waffle Fries as well. The Breakfast Burger was delicious, sandwiched in between two very large hash browns with a runny egg in the middle. I would definitely recommend and would order it again. The French Toast was sweet and delicious and really hit the spot. Overall a very tasty breakfast, and all of the other lunches and dinners I have had here have been great as well. Pricing is fair and services quick so it’s easy to recommend Cassell’s.

I ordered my food & staff's food to go, but the service was great & and the ambience of the restaurant was peaceful and felt 50's, although I wasn't even born yet 😅 Yes, of course enjoyed the burger, and which the lettuce, tomatoe, onion, & picked were separated so that buns did not become saggy! Onion rings were perfect, and you can taste the big pieces of round onion! French Fries could have been better, but since the long drive back to where we were at, we used the air fryer and was perfect! I would order again here whenever we feel the fresh burger in our mind! 😊 😃 😇 👼

this place is super cute!! food was pretty good. I had a grilled cheese and if you like grilled cheese, you'll definitely like this one. don't expect much green here though. I also had a long Island ice tea which was delish!

Adorable 1950’s burger joint. I ordered a 1/4lb burger, French fries, and a malted chocolate milkshake and they were all fantastic. Really nostalgic. After lunch I ordered a cappuccino which was absolutely delicious. We interacted with 3 different employees and they were all lovely and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you are in the neighborhood, especially if you are staying at the Hotel Normandie next door!

I always pass by this place and wanna go in and apparently a lot of people I know say the same. Eating there felt like I was in a bubble, separate from the bustle of the city. The decor is super vintage, maybe a bit too much because my old wooden chair was a bit wobbly. They have a lot of tantalizing options on the menu but I decided on the 1/4 cheeseburger, potato salad, and the cherry coke. They asked me how I want the burger and I told them medium rare. I feel like you should always go for that if they ask. The burger came out more rare, but I personally don’t mind. Check out the picture for reference. It still tasted amazing. You could definitely taste the char and the pepper in the beef. Maybe there was too much lettuce for the slightly small burger. The potato salad was also very flavorful and they give you a lot. The service was also great. All the servers who helped me were very nice. I had a few questions about the menu and they were happy to answer all of them. I will definitely come again!

Excellent burger joint. Vintage interior, excellent vibe! I suggest you visit at least once if you’re in town. I really like their onion rings and the Dulce de leche banana cream pie. Their happy hours are nice as well. Cassells Burger is a one stop where you can get breakfast or lunch. They also have above average coffee bar! It was my third time trying the Patty Melt. It is good but I can’t say it’s the best I’d ever had. Great milk shake and also their Bottled Mexican coke/sprite is great! When ordering your burger, get medium done if you like it juicy! It’s a good burger, tad overpriced. Not the best in LA but still very good option when you’re in LA.

Patty melts are my vice. The patty melts here is hands down the best I’ve had in my life! Very flavorful and fresh. Love the old school diner vibe! Service was good. Definitely a rec and a return for me!

Came here with a colleague for lunch. Drive by it when I go to work. This place is very nostalgic. They have housemaid flavor sodas, which I must say the cherry Coke is so yummy and they put a marinated cherry on the side. Service is fast and good. I had the onion soup and the fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw. My colleague had a cheeseburger with egg on top, sweet potato, waffle, fries, and a vanilla Coke. This is a definite must have. Will be returning.
