Best Denny's experience I've had in years. Ann L. was our server. Sweetest, most personable server I've seen in a long time. Had perfect timing and remembered everything. The cook tonite that was on the line deserves huge props also. Food was hot, steaks were cooked to perfection. Great Job Denny's. Keep up the good work!!
Didn't bat an eye at Dani, my service animal. Treated me professionally with a friendly and welcoming vibe. Food quality was great, quantity was great, place was clean and service was fast. Oh yeah, affordable! Definitely going to be one of my dining out preferences.
I was quite disappointed . I had an elderly friend with us. They took a very long time to address our table after seating us. We had no waiter for the longest. No one acknowledge we were there. No one came to offer drinks. We knew what we wanted. We went there it was close to church. We had been there before. The food fine. But we had to wait a long time both visit. We didn't get service for long time. We thought short on staff a party in back. We saw others being attended too. So, the place clear out and still no service. We had to voice out for help. A young man cleaning tables, we got his attention. Didn't quite understood what he said. It Was loud there. My elderly friend was getting antsy asking why aren't they waiting on us. What's taking so long. I couldn't answer. After quite a few more minutes we decided, with there hardly any customers they just didn't want to wait on the three of us. And begin to get up to leave. As saying sadly they weren't going to wait on us. It's sad when you make the elderly wait such a long time. Out of respect they could have offered water. Since we were in process of leaving someone look like maybe manager came over. We voice why it took so long. We never got answer. My friend was very hungry so we ordered immediately. We received the food quickly. We pay a fair tip for three meals.
Because we never received an answer to our question.We wonder was it the age all grey hair and some grey. Last was it mix company. A racial issue. I hope none. Or have this generation of young forgotten what respect is. Perhaps this business has plenty of money and the employees are pay exceptionally well, huge tips and have great benefits and they take for granted what's here today can be gone tomorrow.
I was once told that the best advertisement is word of mouth. As management who wants prosperity must think ahead to the future. One day perhaps maybe sitting in that same elderly seating. As for me and my friends we have no desire to return. We feel that our time is must more precious now that we are older. Thank you for your precious time, listeners.
This was my first time being here in long beach and I loved being at Denny's. Super nice staff and I enjoyed every moment being there. My breakfast was delicious. Will come back again when I do
