Subway

Two weeks ago, we visited this place. There was a bespectacled "Sandwich Artist" who was to take our order. She had plastic gloves on. I told her what bread I wanted. She took out the bread and proceeded to cut the bread. Something tickled her right eye. Still having her gloves, she reached under her glasses and cleaned her eye. I waited for her to change the gloves BUT SHE DID NOT. Next, she picked up two slices of American Cheese (my choice) and put the bread into the high speed toaster. While waiting, she noticed that the hole in which the trash is dumped had some stuff protruding out. WITH THE GLOVE ON, SHE PRESSED THE TRASH DOWN THROUGH THE HOLE. Even before the toasting was complete, she cancelled the toasting, pulled out the bread and proceeded to put the lettuce as I wanted on my sandwich. There was very little lettuce so she literally reached out to the bottom of the box and started putting it on the bread - some of the pieces were brown - so they were obviously not freshly cut. By then I had had enough. SINCE SHE HAD NOT CHANGED HER GLOVES AT ALL, I TOLD HER THAT I WAS WALKING OUT AND SHE COULD TRASH THE SANDWICH. I TOLD HER THE THINGS THAT BOTHERED ME - NOT CHANGING THE GLOVES AFTER: 1) SHE CLEANED HER EYES. 2) PRESSING THE TRASH INTO THE TRASH RECEPTACLE. 3) INSUFFICIENT TOASTING. 4) BROWNED LETTUCE. I KNOW I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS SUBWAY EVER - I DOUBT I WILL VISIT ANY OTHER SUBWAY EVEN FOR A LONG TIME.

I placed a pick up order via Ubereats on 4/16/22 around 6:45 PM; 1 sandwich, 2 cookies, and a drink. I arrived at the store location at 7:10 PM which was the said ready time per Ubereats app. The order was not ready when I arrived and it was still not ready after I waited 20 minutes inside the store. There was only one employee working in the front, and he was slammed. No one else was even there to acknowledge other awaiting customers. I left the store and I received a text from Ubereats later saying that it was ready at 8:24 PM. LOL. I was shocked by how poorly they ran their business. I already requested refund via amex. I never received any goods/services. Please expedite so there's no delay for refund.

The manager here knowingly let's homeless people live in the store. They will be there if you go at 10 in the morning and as well if you go at 11 at night. I have asked the employee's, why not ask them leave and they have told me they don't want to look like they are just trying to be mean considering their boss gave the homeless the ok. The smell that will hit you if you happen to walk in while they are there is that of pants covered in urine for God knows how long. Avoid this location at all costs!

I just moved to this side of town and have been to this location once during the day and once in the evening. Both times were pretty busy, multiple customers ordered 3/4 subs at once but the staff worked very quickly to get through the order and move onto the next customer. Lynda is very kind and quick, I’m not sure if she’s a manager, but she better be. It’s a nice looking store and I’m surprised the reviews are not better. Sadly, since I moved out this way I’ve learned customers are pretty demanding. Lynda and the staff do a great job!
