Smoothie King

Smoothie King is a New Orleans original and I was happy to hear that there were two locations here in Las Vegas. They have THE best smoothies hands down and I’ve been to all the competitors. E Hulk is my all time fav but decided to try the coffee high protein and it’s delicious. The staff was very friendly and they made me the perfect smoothie. They also have $5 Friday’s which gives you a 💪🏾💪🏾32ounce a smoothie for $5 and you can’t beat that.

Came to get a refreshing smoothie with me and my chaps after balling up at the courts. I walked in to a fine establishment and the counter clerk was a fine young gentleman who recommended the hulk to quench my thirst after such intense physical contact. The young man was correct! It quenched my thirst and then some! I asked the clerk his name and he responded with “Ayden sir” I love the respect being shown by the workers. 👹

Came in at 8:57 with the attendant helping another customer. Computer wouldn't take my app payment with the loyalty app of which I'm on the highest "Champion" level because I frequent this store ATLEAST twice a week. So I told the cashier that I would be paying with Google Pay. He walked away to start making my smoothie since it was now after 9. He did everything except actually blend the smoothie. The computer wouldn't take my Google Pay payment because it was after 9:00. He said the only way I could get my smoothie at this point is if I had cash which I did not have. I then asked him if he was just going to throw the smoothie away and he said yes, so I asked if I could just have it instead of it being a complete waste of food. He said no, so I asked him to call his manager a second time since he had already called her once when the computer went down. She told him not to give me the smoothie. And then I was told "you have to leave the store". This is absolutely insane and terrible customer service as well as a massive waste of food, all because their own system was down. I came in the door and placed my order before the closing time. What happened after that was the stores fault. I could have just paid for a second smoothie the next time I came in since I was a regular customer. The key word there is "Was". The name of the manager that he called was "Mary". At least that's what I heard him say over the phone. I will never purchase another smoothie at this location because of this interaction. I will also be calling corporate about this. I did absolutely nothing wrong and was punished for it.

The Smoothie King in our area (Las Vegas) give gift certificates to schools to present to students when they get recognized (my daughter was Student of the Month). It is my guess, that use this as a ploy (marketing scheme) to get people to come to their locations. Because once we arrived, we were told they NO DONT HONOR those gift certificates. Which, for a individual that was recognized for that type of thing, is kind of embarrassing. Unfortunately, their ploy worked, we still purchases our smoothies and they got their money from us for one last time. My reasoning for saying it is a ploy is, I went on their Facebook page for this location and in their FaceBook reviews, the are several similar of the same concern. All of which, go unresponded to. Shame on you guys!! That is pretty LOW!! :(
