Salsa Loca Mexican Grill

I go for the daily special, which is $6 and ranges from taco combo plates to bowls. The quality of shredded beef and carnitas is excellent. The beans tend to be better than the rice. I eat here several times a month and highly recommend the shredded beef and carnitas Salsa Loca bowls, as they include enough food for several meals.

Even though I've been next door to this restaurant on numerous occasions, i never paid attention to exactly what they served. Phenomenal Mexican food! My girlfriend works across the street and asked me to pick up dinner for her. We ended up splitting a huge burrito that was the best I've had from any restaurant here. It's a small, family owned and run establishment with fresh, homemade Mexican food. It's immaculately clean inside. It was ready within 7 minutes of the phone order. The price was quite reasonable for the size of the burrito, easily feeding both of us.

Great food with kind service! I always order lengua when trying a new place so I chose the lengua burrito. Great tortillas, the lengua was tender, and the beans were perfect. Wife got the vegetarian burrito without cheese and sourcream (she vegan) and also enjoyed it. Bonus points for the variety of salsas (but I guess a restaurant with "salsa" in it's name should). They had green and red with a range of spiciness, a sweet one, and a vinegar one. The vinegar salsa mixed with the "very hot" was my go-to. Highly recommended! So far it's our new fav texmex spot!
