Roberto's Taco Shop

Just ordered dinner for me and my kids. I ordered 2 shrimp cocktails, $12 each. My sons cocktail had 2 shrimp, mine was a little better with 6. So I basically paid $24 for 8 shrimp. I guess I wouldn’t be as upset if the shrimp count was even in each serving. I feel like I just ate a subpar shrimp cocktail but paid strip prices. I’ve ordered the shrimp cocktail from Robertos many times before and have had more shrimp in one serving other times.

If you live in Vegas, you'll slowly come to the conclusion that Roberto's Taco Shop is pretty much the McDonald's of Mexican take-out food. Roberto's is also about as ubiquitous (meaning they are EVERYWHERE) as McDonald's as well. However, in my travels, I have discovered that the Roberto's located on the corner of Fort Apache and Charleston is apparently the best. It gets really busy there especially around midnight which is a clear indicator that they must be doing something right.

Inconsistency in size. Got an extra large taquito when I ordered a burrito. Was smallest I've ever seen at a Robert's anywhere and at this spot which is an indy location. Been here many times (20x) to eat and its been small at times but this one is about half the size of the average anywhere and much smaller for this location. One word "standardize". I'm hungry and have no time to correct the situation. They did say they would replace it had i not eaten it all. Wont ever come back since I've never complai ed and have spent $200 here easy. Much cheaper to keep a customer than replace one. Signed Hangry

Call yesterday for 2 orders. Get there cashier ask for id to the other card but not for my card. So i ended up paying for 2 orders. He said nothing about id over the phone he didnt even ask for my name. For you to ask for id for 1 card and not the other makes no sense. Worse experience ever. I was in line and watched him collect payment from 2 ppl he didn't ask for id. I guess cuz i was black and they were mexican. I look like I steal.
