There was no wait, on Friday night. The menu has a lot to offer, from breakfast, lunch, dinner, sampler plates, sweets. The food was really good. The prices are excellent, we ordered a lot of food, came to around $36. Our server, was a hit and miss, he took our order, then disappeared. Maybe 30 mins later, he brought us our food, then disappeared yet again. He never once, came by our table to ask, if we needed anything. After eating, we had to wait Maybe 20min to get to go containers and our check so we could pay. The interior, is outdated. But I will say, the prices are perfect and the food is real good. I will be back, hopefully we'll have a more attentive server. By the way, it was Friday night around 10pm. There were maybe 15-18 customer's there, so you'll get a table fast.
My boyfriend and I eat at the Grand Cafe all the time, we love the turkey club sandwich. I will say though, lately, the service has gone downhill. I don't know what happened with their staff who used to work late nights, so we just order our food to go. Great food still, anytime 24 hours a day, especially late at night, after drinking and gambling....
Wow! I'm noticing alotta bad reviews. Am I eating at a different Grand Cafe? I usually get coupons from the kiosk for discounts on Stations food venues. I use them here and get a Reuben sandwich, burger, Philly steak or steak and eggs....Never had a bad meal, great tasting in fact. Keep up the good work guys. Haters gonna hate😎👍
The food is good and it's open 24/7 so they have late night food specials if you get hungry after the party!
I hadn't been to Texas Station in a long time and this was my first visit to Grand Cafe as we normally go to the one at Red Rock. I had the Belgian waffle and hashbrowns and it was delicious! The waffle was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I got mine with blueberries and couldn't be happier. I am used to East Coast crisp hashbrowns and I asked for my hashbrowns to be crisp and the cook definitely did it right. Absolutely delicious. Oh, and we got breakfast at like 3 PM and it was no big deal. We will definitely be back. Oh, and the dessert case with the red velvet cake and the red, white, and blue cookies and cake look like something out of a magazine. We didn't save room for dessert, but the pastry chef outdid themself on the presentation!
Very friendly but rather slow service. Large portions, decent prices, good food, deserts are huge and worth it especially with the coupon for a free one with signing up for a players card which is free and you don't even have to gamble. Ps get the parmesan fries!
the service is always perfect the food cooked to perfection the wait time was less than 5 minute, great customer performances and services as well i also want to give amazing props to Mr.Victor for his excellent work and positive attitude thank you..
Good is pretty good! I enjoy it way more at home instead the Cafe during late night hours. I don't like how u have to CONTINUALLY ask the waitress over and over and over again for something I asked 3 other table's ago! If ya ask me something listen to the whole answer so that way I don't have to repeat myself many times and bother you as much. Also kind of disturbing hearing people argue cry and scream at the top of their lungs in the back where the waitress was walking to I believe it's where they get the food from LOL I love the as yours they're the awesomest ladies in the world thank you ladies. And I miss the other ladies at that did the registers before they take maternity leave they're much missed let me tell you what LOL overall pretty damn good place if you don't mind the price is continuously going up but they don't let other people know about the specials they have which is more than half off but the meals
Breakfast was Good! Staff is always Friendly & Attentive. The wait for the food can be challenging but it tastes good.
Great place for the prime rib. It was perfect size and decent price. Restaurant is clean, bathroom is clean. Friendly staff. And all over nice vibe.
