Tried this place for teppanyaki with a couple friends for the first time the other night and we were very impressed!!
What you'd expect from a teppanyaki joint in terms of menu. Plenty of different protein combinations at a reasonable price point. Paid about $30 for NY strip and lobster tail which was cooked to absolute perfection by our chef, Ronnie. He had a fine assortment of tricks and it was a delight to have him as part of our meal! A bit of a fun little quirk about this place was when they offered us fresh cotton candy for dessert! It was an incredible experience overall and we will definitely be going back.
One other thing worth mentioning, they were super accommodating of my service dog! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great service and top notch teppanyaki.
Very nice atmosphere and lovely restaurant, my family felt very welcomed and valued.
Our Server was amazing, kept on top of everything without being smothering.
I never had to ask for anything to be taken away or to be refilled etc because he was on top of it all.
The food was..amazing..flat out amazing.
We will be coming back often and recommending Hokkaido to others.
Thank you for a wonderful time.
Our server did a fantastic job. Our chef made us delicious food. The filet that I had was amazing. It was my first time trying hibachi. It was wonderful. It was a group of 5 teachers celebrating the school year. The part that touched us all was the woman who was sitting at the same grill as us with her daughter. We went to pay the bill and found out she covered the bill for all of us. We were all humbled and shocked that someone would do that for us. It was so greatly appreciated!
It is a great place. It's not really big so I recommend making a reservation. The food is excellent and our chef Joseph was great. He put on a great show for us and even offered us some extra options I have not had before. If you are looking for a nice night out I suggest going here
Great find! After being in a lot of Hibachi and Sushi bars I would like to really recommend this place, great food and very fresh as well, great service and some nice special signature Sushi Rolls. You must try the cotton candy in the end as well. Very recommended!

This is our 2nd visit. Our first was nine weeks ago. We came to celebrate my birthday from California and I wanted teppyanyaki for dinner. After reading great reviews we made our reservation and had a spectacular show and a delectable meal. We came back to vegas to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary not just for the enjoyment of vegas but also to have a great dinner. As a matter of fact when my husband asked where I wanted to go for dinner I said I wanted to go for teppyanyaki at Hokkaido's. So we booked a room at our usual hotel MGM. Yes, MGM another story and it was an incredible place to stay. Now back to Hokkaido. We were greated by our server Raquel and from the moment we walked into this amazingly booked restaurant, especially on a Monday evening! We were treated as royalty as everyone else at our table was. Our Chef Ed put on a lovely show as he prepared a variety of different meals with different requests from eight people. My husband and had the sole and had the filet mignon med rare both cooked to perfection and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant as well as our staff.
All the food we ordered was phenomenal - we had chili garlic edamame, gyoza, a sushi roll, chicken/New York steak & lobster/filet minon combo with fried rice. The server & staff were all attentive and friendly, atmosphere was quiet (we chose to sit at the tables, not the teppanyaki grill) & restaurant was very clean. Will definitely be back & recommend!
Hokkaido is so much fun!
The shrimp, scallops, filet with veggies and fried rice are standard fare. The entertainment of the chefs is so much to take in with a group.
If you looking for an affordable, fun night with high quality/ freshly made to order prepared right in front of you, bee line to Hokkaido.

I've been here before but couldn't remember the name of the place to save my life. Luckily I stumbled upon it again and it was just as I remembered. I got the shrimp tempura roll and the filet mignon and lobster with teriyaki. We had the house's best chef, Ronnie, and he did not disappoint. Service was A1 , food was delicious and the atmosphere was lively! I can't wait to return.
Ronnie (I think) was our chef. He had a great sense of humor and skilled at his craft. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Next visit to Las Vegas.....a must do stop.
I wish they had same restaurant in New York.
It was our first experience in hibachi place. And we totally loved it.
Everything was super fresh. Delicious. Tasty. I haven't ever tried such amazing noodles and shrimps.
Chef was just a master of a food. He made such a food show for me and my hubby. Super professional. Very unique and so specios atmosphere.
Very attentive waiters. Do suggest to book table in advance so you won't wait.
Extremely happy, this place is on our top list. Will be back again, when next time in Vegas.
We love this place. The food is terrific and we love the fun atmosphere. We have gone for our post wedding dinner and celebrate our Birthdays there too!
