My family and I enjoy trying new sushi restaurants, especially when it's AYCE. Although this restaurant doesn't offer our favorite conveyor belt-style, it still was an outstanding experience. When we first walked in, I was a little worried because the restaurant was on the smaller side and we immediately had to wait for a table to open up. I actually thought about leaving to go find another restaurant because at this point, I didn't know how long the wait was going to be and I was starving. However, I'm glad that I didn't because the food was excellent.
My choice of sushi is probably standard in some people's eyes. I typically get anything with octopus, ahi tuna (whether just a tuna roll or spicy tuna roll), and anything sashimi style. I don't entertain all that other fancy schmancy rolls since for the majority of my life, I was raised on raw tuna. My wife and daughter, on the other hand, do venture towards other types of rolls and tonight the specialty rolls they ordered were the Salmon Skin Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Japanese Lasagna - they really enjoyed it too. We also ordered the Cucumber Roll, Miso Soup, Seaweed Salad, Fried Gyoza, Steamed Gyoza, and Chicken Karaage, in which all of them were phenomenal. Also, the Taiyaki here is great so don't forget to leave room for that!
The service was surprisingly amazing! I thought the service was going to be slow considering there weren't that many servers, but everything came out really fast and was made with high quality as well. Our main server was very friendly, efficient, and attentive. The prices for this restaurant are reasonable and they allow ample time during the AYCE session to sit and enjoy all your favorite types of sushi/rolls. We also realized that they have specialty nights here as well, which is pretty cool - never seen that before.
I highly recommend this place to everyone! If you haven't been here before, you should consider setting a day/night to visit - you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely wonderful sushi! It was my first time trying things besides California rolls and it was fantastic. The presentation was beautiful. Excellent service! One of my party enjoyed the teriyaki beef bowl and vegetable tempura. Exceptional place to dine even if sushi isn't to your taste.
I always have high expectations, expecting amazing service and great food when I dine out. I’m from Chicago and on this Vegas trip, I consider myself a lucky man when my host decided to bring me to this place for dinner. This unpretentious mom and pop place was beyond all my expectations. The service was excellent, and the food was incredible. Every time I go to a Japanese restaurant, I only order sashimi and this place was no exception. My friends ordered a whole bunch of other items which I thought I wouldn’t care about, but I was so impressed by the presentation. I wanted to devour my sashimi right away, and couldn’t resist sampling the other items too. Needless to say, my excitement made me forget to take photos of most of the food on our table. The hamachi kama was to die for. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to come back before I return to Chicago in 3 days.
Had an awesome dining experience. This is by far the best Japanese restaurant. Food is authentic without a doubt. It was our family first time but certainly not the last.
We had the all you can eat sushi at lunch, when it's $5 cheaper. The fish was fresh and the side dishes were hot and delicious. The wait staff were really friendly and helpful. This might be our new AYCE place in Vegas.
The star of this establishment is the service. The staff here handles rush hour with Grace and ease. Quick to bring you your order and very friendly. The sushi rolls are diverse but the fish portions seem to be a little things at times. All in all I'd go back just for the ease of service even when all tables are full.
I love the service and atmosphere of the place! Been going there last 4 years and I will continue going! 2020 and still visiting Naka Sushi it is great food!
My favorite place to eat. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Try the quail eggs!
Love this place. Nice little place where they tend to remember what you order after a few visits at the bar. The food is fresh, served fast and offer a great selection of creative rolls. They have both a la carte and AYCE.
Nice selection of sake too.
Really great place. Definitely worth stopping by and it was very reasonably priced. Good sake selection to boot! Definitely will be back soon.
