I've been living a sushi lie! I thought all this time I've tasted good sushi, no way! Not until I went and ate at Sushi Takashi. This is by far the best sushi I've had the pleasure to eat. The amount of flavor the chefs achieve is mind blowing. The staff is very helpful, knowledgable of the menus, and attentive. The chefs themselves are so kind to their customers and masters at what they do. They even sometimes send out random samples of items made special by them to just enjoy. I thought this spoke a lot about the pride they take in their work. They know no matter what they send you, you will enjoy it. I know I did!! I went out on a limb and tried items I never have tried before ever and got the happy hour carpaccio. I also let the chefs choose the fish to use. I was NOT disappointed. It was so well prepared and sliced the fish all but melted in my mouth. I fully recommend the Kyote roll if you want a well made and flavor packed roll. Truly delicious Sushi at reasonable prices!! I will come back every time I'm in town just to enjoy the food as well as the Chefs here . Thank you Chef Takashi and Chef Koji for a wonderful meal.

Amongst so many great Japanese restaurants in Las Vegas, this is in my top 5. For the quality of sushi, the price is very reasonable. Service is very friendly, although I did have to watch my friend eat for about 10 minutes before my own food arrived. Can't bring myself to take a star off though. Atmosphere is chill, it's not too loud so conversation is doable.

First time eating here and let me tell you, this place is awesome! Nice elegant decor, I loved the private style booths they seat you at. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. My favorite is the avocado treasure chest, so good. Oh are our server Ashley was very friendly, great service!

I have tried many Japanese restaurants, but this place is by far the best! I recommend anyone to stop by here. They have fantastic service, food is fresh, and the atmosphere is amazing. There is an incredible amount of options on the menu, especially the drinks!

Upon entering we a greeted by smiling, attentive staff. We are seated together in very nice booth. The staff was attentive to our every need and very knowledgeable to any questions we had on the menu. We ordered a few appetizers - takoyaki and uni valcano; both were fantastic and fresh. Our main course we shared the 24 piece nigiri assorted platter and it was on point. All the fish was fresh and served on a perfect amount of rice, really high lighting the excellent flavor of the fish. Easily one of the best sushi and authentic Japanese cuisine restaurants in town. We will definitely be back and thank you for making the food you do!

Don’t be misled by its current 4.6-star rating: This restaurant deserves 5 stars (or beyond). If you are looking for authentic Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend this one to you. These were what we ordered: A small boat of sashimi (3 pc x 6 kinds, including salmon, tuna, red snapper, octopus, etc.), one 8-pc nigiri set, two sets of salmon belly sashimi (Wednesday special: 50% off on salmon or salmon belly sashimi), uni sushi (sea urchin, 2 pc), shrimp tempura (3 pc), agedashi tofu, and seaweed chazuke. The seafood was of extraordinary quality, very fresh and sweet. We loved the sea urchin - it’s not fishy but full of a flavor of ocean, like it was just harvested and shipped straight from the beach. The tempura had a crispy surface but the shrimp was flaky. I could say a lot of good things, but I’ll let you explore the gourmet by yourself. You’ll be as amazed as I am.

Random chance and proximity was how I lucked upon this incredible sushi spot while visiting Vegas...phenomenal ambiance indoors, very kind and friendly service but most importantly above that...the high quality and creativity of the fish. We delighted in the Death Note: a slightly seared scallop treasure. Try the house made ginger sauce marinated Hamachi...oh my...it got better...Salmon carpaccio with an olive oil and vinegar dip mixture sealed the deal. Fantastic drinks menu, even the Miso was stunning. Lovely selection of handrolls too. This is a must-return-to restaurant the next time I am in Vegas....🍣

Great spot for great sushi selection. Some plates are tapas sized for either a light meal or an opportunity for variety. Great service and accommodating staff.

Best sushi I've ever had! Their signature Nigiri is the real treat here! And the big sashimi boat was a great deal for how much we got. I'd definitely consider flying back to Vegas just to come here again!!

Sweet staff and charming chef. Large variety menu and nice happy hour choices. Not high end sushi in terms of quality and presentation, instead you get fresh fish at a grade that matches the reasonable price. The noticeably low grade nori was hard to take for a Japanese palate, but I imagine it's not an issue for most local guests who order heavily sauced rolls and entrees.
