Best Pho and spring rolls around! I have eaten pho all over Las Vegas. I've been going here for a long time. Hands down the best homemade broth and super fresh ingredients! Let me forewarn you....you want the best then you are going to have to pay a little more... but it's well worth it. Mia the owner is amazing and very funny...she is witty and entertaining. Don't waste your time going to all these other places. Once you try their Pho nowhere else will compare.
I love eating here at least once a week the best oxtail pho by far hands down.. service is wonderful. Environment is comforting. Recommended to everyone from everywhere 💙💙💙💙💙
I thought it was closed when I walked in, not a very inviting place. I noticed the empty restaurant. Someone came to greet me, seemed like they came from the kitchen. He sat me then asked if I was ready to order, I ordered a Thai ice tea and water. Then when he returned with them I ordered the Chicken Pho or (White boy special) as listed on the menu. Looking around the place was really falling apart and looks like maybe someone lives there. I saw a sign that said "if our foods dont meet your standards, lower your standards. People with lower standards are happier" and another sign that said "Our prices are high, if your not willing to pay for good food go somewhere else." I felt uneasy, I felt like I should dash for the door, but it was too late I had already ordered. I was delightfully surprised to see how fresh the limes, bean sprouts, and thai basil was, this is often my first indicator that the place is a good pho restaurant. The "White Boy Special" was steaming hot and it looked so fresh, the chicken looked like it had been cooked by the broth. The noodles were wider than most pho restaurants but it was a just tender as the thinner noodles. I slurped up the noodles and broth so fast, I even think my, server/cook/host got joy from me eating his soup. It was a pleasant surprise. I hope more people have a similar experience! I also would love to see the place be renovated and opened up to be a more inviting place.
Absolutely love this place. I first came here with my father around 2019 and we absolutely love it. Our server(s) were extremely hospitable and made us feel at home. Pricing is a but expensive but your are paying for amazing food. Decorations were adorable and made me feel as if though I had walked into my aunts house. I was treated as a family member by Mai ( ?I believe thats how you spell it? )and I always came here for my birthdays and school celebrations. Overall, I really recommend Pho87 and continue to be a costumer after almost 4 years!
Cool little spot on the outskirts of China town. The owner was friendly and funny. She stayed and chatted with me at the table. She had a dry sarcastic sense of humor which becomes very apparent with the signs on the wall. Food was excellent. I tried their oxtail pho. Super tender meat, fresh basil limes and beansprouts. The soup was much more flavorful then a lot of the other pho places in the area. The food here is a bit higher priced then other pho places. If that's a concern you should question why you don't think you're worth spending a few more dollars on yourself. Overall I had a great experience and I'll sure I'll return
Been coming here for years every time I come to Vegas and the Pho is always amazing.
If you want REAL Pho and personal service, this is the place to go. This restaurant has been rated 5 stars and the famous chef Emeril visits here often. Most of the food is made fresh, so even after you are placed at a table you may be waiting a little bit. However, it is all worth the wait.
Best Pho broth on the planet. Far better than anywhere in south Vietnam.
The owner is nice, to nice people.
I been going here since 2010.
The prices have gone up a lot, so I don’t come as often as I’d like to, but the food is all made from scratch, with no MSG.
Pho 87 is one of those small restaurants that has amazing tasting food but when your there you just wonder how the hell they are still in business. The place is always empty, and has been for the last 6 years I have eaten here. I always get the grilled beef Pho, just add s little Sriracha for a little heat on the back end and you have the perfect PHO.
The downside is the politics. The owner is pretty conservative and she lets you know it. I couldn’t care about the owners politics at any restaurant, as I just want to eat some good food and feel I got my money’s worth. When I have to hear about politics at dinner and it isn’t brought up by a family member it isn’t what I want to hear. I have to imagine plenty of people who have complete opposite view from her being completely disgusted and never wanting to return.
Come in with open mind and enjoy the good food.
Read tons of mix reviews but I will say this: definitely one of the best pho I had.
It is a straight up family own, mom & pops noodle shop in a building being wrap up in a glamours network TV endorsement that they just don't care about.
This is what real pho should taste like! Not your MSG watered down version that you get at the local joint. Yes expensive. Yes the environment is rather eclectic with a buffet area that looks like a garage sale. But can’t complain about the pho. One taste and I can taste the deep rich flavors of beef bones and oxtail, not MSG. We called and confirm that they do not use any MSG in their Pho. My partner would also attest to that since he is super MSG sensitive with bloating and stomach ache. We will be back!
I love going here for the oxtail pho. This is where I had pho for the first time, and have been going here for a few years. The people there are very friendly, and the lady there is one of the most friendliest people I have ever met. When I go there, I look forward to conversing with her. I have been to other places, and it is just not as good as what I get here.
