I was here with my wife for a quick snack before heading to a show two weeks ago. We ended up here after another place nearby had refused a table because we wouldn't guarantee that we would order entrees. On a Thursday afternoon. When the place was virtually empty. That's another story.
It's a nice place open to Strip just a short distance from the Monte Carlo. Great view of the scene, open and pleasant. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Decent selection of beers on tap, including local options. Food wise, we had only appetizers, but they were quite good, and the price was very reasonable.
Given the amount of competition on the Strip, what ends up setting you apart is almost always the quality of service. This place gets high marks for that; and replaces the other local haunt I used to go to in the area that refused me a table. I'll come back here.
This place was right next to our hotel and looked good. They had a karaoke night the time we were visiting - which can get a little noisy. We chose a nice quiet corner for ourselves.
Our server was a pleasant lady, who looked after us well & was very attentive.
We were 4 of us and ordered a combination of food:
BBQ Beef Brisket Slider - pretty good. 2 small sliders & filling if you are not up to eat much.
Wood Grilled Steak Taco - normal, nothing too different.
Bbq Smoked St. Louis Ribs - Oh, the BESTEST ribs we've ever had. This was a favourite on the table. Everyone couldn't get enough of this.
Smoked Southern Jambalaya - SUPER SPICY!! But ever SO TASTY!!!! If you have a tolerance for HIGH spice, you will LOVE this dish. OMG, only if someone could tell me anywhere in Dubai I could get similar....
We were too full to get any dessert. And overall satisfied with our meal.
Stopped here on accident actually. We were looking for a specific restaurant but we were having troubles, so we decided to stop here instead and we are so glad we did. This place was amazing! We had dinner here on a Friday night and we were lucky enough to get a table on the patio right by the sidewalk. Our server was great, very friendly and helpful. Our drinks were amazing and the food was to die for! We had the pulled pork sliders which were the best we've ever had. And we also split the wood-grilled chicken nachos...AMAZING! The best around, in my opinion.
We plan on stopping here every time we go to Vegas from now on.

Food was good but prices were high!. This is a sports bar type of place and you'd expect prices to reflect that. The draft beers were $8 and bottles were $7. I paid that much at our hotel & expect to pay more at a hotel than I would at a sports bar.

After walking by and continuing to look for an outside seating area we ended up at DBR (the aromas also helped lure us in).
Our waitress was young and dumb. She didn't have any suggestions and provided the basic "Hello. What would you like to eat?". This was our only turn off, but the food was delicious.
I ordered the 1/2 chicken w coleslaw and my wife ordered the brisket w/ mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoning along w the BBQ sauce was spot on. The coleslaw complimented the entree very well. My wife's food was also tasty and she left stuffed!
They also had a nice beer selection that I choose from, but once again received no help from our waitress.
*Coupons for a free drink were also available which knocked a couple dollars off the bill.
If you are looking for some fantastic American food on the strip look no further. The atmosphere was great, staff was friendly and very on top of things. I ordered the Double barrel burger and was the best Hamburger that I have ever had. My wife got the Cheeseburger sliders and they were equally as good. The macaroni and cheese was fantastic as well. This will defiantly be where we have dinner again.
Went to Double Barrel TWICE on our trip in April 2017. The food was AMAZING!!! My husband and I were blown away by the quality of the food and the relatively low prices. The staff was friendly and the open air atmosphere in the evening was super fun. The music they played was perfect, too. It was all around a great experience and we can't wait to go back.
Not a terrible wait for a place along the strip. I got the southwestern burger and it was cooked perfectly. The sweet potato fries were great. Skip the side salad. It was a tiny bowl of just spring mix basically.
Also, someone should have offered our waitress a shirt. She practically forgot to wear one. Everyone else had a normal outfit on.
Pleasantly surprised! My wife and I randomly stopped in here after being handed buy-one-get-one coupons on the strip and I'm glad we gave it a shot! Really cool atmosphere and decor. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and accommodating to everything that we requested. We ordered the brisket sliders which were phenomenal. They had live music when we were there which was very entertaining - seriously the guy could play anything on his guitar and little beat box. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in Vegas.
The food was ok. We had ribs that were too fatty to eat. I blame the cow not them. But our server was extra nice. And we had a Groupon that we didn't realize was between certain times. The manager still honored it. That was awesome. Really had a good time there.
BBQ! Enough said! They also have a good selection of beers and mixed drinks. The food here is outstanding, the pulled pork nachos are enough to feed a small family alone. Everything I've tried here was delicious. So if you find yourself wondering the Las Vegas Strip and are hungry, this should be on your list. When my friends travel to Las Vegas I always take them here.

I have to be honest..I couldn't remember the name of this restaurant...I had to look it up on my daughters bank transactions ( She paid for it ) I simply never really looked at the name...We had been walking for over 2 hrs..Looking for a good but not so expensive place on the Las Vegas Strip to eat..Which is hard to say the least...Well we stumbled onto Double Barrel Roadhouse and stood outside reading the menu..When I decided on the 3 piece chicken meal and she decided on the ribs...We were quickly seated and it didn't take long to get our food...I have to say the ribs were simply Delicious and the only thing I will order when I go back ( The chicken was lacking in flavor ) The seasoned fries and Ultra delicious corn bread made up for it! Ohh! The ribs were so tender and soft and tasted Super good! For that alone...I give them 5 stars...Though the waitress needs more training.. ( Hardly checked to see if we needed anything else..Which we did ) To end on a sweet note...I Highly recommend Double Barrel Roadhouse!! Awesome Experience!! Super good food!!*
We came here last year (2015) and made friends quickly with the staff. We returned this year and Chris remembered us! Johnny is great, Jay is great and we got to hang out with Rob too. We love this place - we've yet to have a bad thing on the menu, the live music is great, service is great, drinks are great... We will be back as long as Double Barrel is here!
