I crave a proper Sunday Rituals. Roast beef or lamb, a good mint sauce, roasted potatoes, yorkshire pudding and English peas and, for dessert, custard. I found the answer to my craving here at the Crown and Anchor.
It's a very cool, laid back pub with several screens for sports, video poker, great weekday specials and a traditional English menu. Looking for bangers and mash? You will find them here. Fish and chips? Ditto.
Our waitress, Savanah, was spot on with the beer list and recommendations. Great overall experience. 👌
Open 24 hours, dog friendly, proper bacon, fish n chips, tea service, ESB and Old Speckled Hen on tap, sports on tv. Like being teleported to England except more comfortable, better food, friendlier service. And gambling machines at the bar..! Hope to return soon
I've never been inside an English Pub, but this place seems to be the real thing.
The inside is a bit packed, with just enough space to walk between tables. The place does live up to it's name, as most of the decor is related to sailing or boating.
The service did leave me wanting for more, but the place did go from pretty empty to jam packed during my meal. Although she seemed overwhelmed, the one waitress was very attentive to all the tables in her section.
The food was pretty good. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, and well excellent prepared. I decided on the fish and chips, as they claim to be the best in town. The fish was beautiful fried, but the chips were a little lacking.
Overall, this would be a good place to hang out after work, made evident by the groups that came in after I did. It seems cozy enough for a first date, but the cramped quarters would be conducive to a more intimate encounter.

Breakfast "The Full Monty" was great but my hubby got the Cornish Pasty and the pastry was divine! So we decided to try a scotch egg for fun before dessert - I mean, I get it, they're good but I couldn't eat it everyday day! We tried the Apple Crumble and it was disappointing but I liked it. It wasn't fancy, a basic dessert and sometimes that's all you need after a delicious meal. Definitely recommend!
This place is all around amazing. The Fish and Chips are to die for. It's been around forever and is a really fun place to eat at. If you're a local you probably already know about it. If you're from out of town, and looking for a fun place to eat semi off the Strip, this is the place to go to. It's a pub so obviously know it's gonna be loud in there. If you're looking for a quiet atmosphere, not the place hahahaha. If you're looking for a social, have a good night, good food and good drinks place... This is it. Even if you're not into a pub style atmosphere, order and take it home. Everything on the menu is aces.
A friend took me here for fish and chips. It was a much bigger piece than I anticipated however, that is not a bad thing. The food was great, the price is very reasonable and they had trivia night, though I did not participate as I do not know much about sports outside of racing. Our server was awesome though I cannot remember her name. Would definitely come back.
Relaxed local pub. Fair prices and large beer selection. Smithwick's, Guiness, Newcastle and others served cold and by a welcoming staff. Fish n chips done right!
Best proper pub I’ve been in since being in the states. Food was accurate, game was center, service was fantastic. Each visit to Vegas will now require a meal here. If any lads are feeling homesick for food while in sin city this is the place.
The food is delicious. We went in St. Patrick's Day and it was really busy. Good times and the fish and chips were amazing! The cod is cooked perfectly with light breading
Great location. Off the strip. Fresh food, good prices. Great beer selection. Friendly service very accommodating. The sticky toffee pudding was yum. And my burger was huge and very good. This place deserves your attention. Pictured- their club sandwich.
