The food was ok for the price we paid. Would I go back… hmm, maybe.

We wanted something before the show at Mirage, and it's conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the theater.
We seated right away even though we were 30 minutes early for our reservation. Staffs were attentive. We got our menu, water, and drinks a few minutes after. Our server David answered all of our questions and took our orders.
We opted out of ordering entrées and went to few appertizers (gyoza, tempura combo, seaweed salad), robata grill (Sea Bass, scallops and wagyu beef)items and a spider roll.
Didn't take long to get our food. Tempura was nice and crispy. The seaweed salad needed a bit of sweet as it was more on the acidic side. Then the roll came. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by it. It lacks the taste and seems just one note. We loved the sea bass (with mirin glaze) and scallops with some sort of bacon sauce. The wagyu was overcooked.
That's why we only gave 4 ☆s.

Otoro fulfills the role it intended. The food was delicious and the atmosphere perfect. We recommend the chicken katsu for something tasty and filling as well as the magic mushroom dessert!

Love, love love this restaurant at the Mirage!!! I've been here numerous times because it's sooo good. The food, service, and atmosphere are phenomenal.

Came during their late happy hour before closing. Overall good selection of food items and cheap sake.

Amazing! Excellent service and high quality sushi and robata grilled meats. Highly recommended.

Food was good. Service was good. Expensive and small portions. We didn’t eat sushi. Would recommend eating sushi there and not meat.

I know it’s weird to go to the desert and have sushi, but this place is fantastic! We ordered tapas style (small plates ordered continuously). Each dish was better then the last. The Chilean Sea Base was Phenomenal. So succulent and tender, and the Wagyu Beef was delicious. I highly recommend this place…I hope they keep it with the new ownership of the Mirage (Hard Rock Cafe)!

The food was good, but a little pricey for what you get. We asked for masago on our seaweed salad, but they said they don't have that. I never been to a sushi restaurant that didn't have a masago.

The cucumber salad and spider roll were both fantastic. The surf and turf roll was only okay. The service and drink refills should be much better for the price of the food ($52.50/person total + tip). Convenient if you are staying at the Mirage (which I am).
