Cugino's Italian Deli & Pizzeria

I've first discovered this place on YouTube from Dave Portnoy barstool pizza review, and he gave Cugino's a 7.7 rating. Since I'm new here in Vegas and searching for good pizza, my wife and I decided to give this place a shot. We've ordered their large New York style pizza with onions, garlic and their home made sweet Italian sausages. I have to tell you, it's the best New York style pizza in Las Vegas! The cheese was milky and it stretched after taking a bite, their Italian sausages was well seasoned, and their marinara sauce was sweet and fresh, and their crust was crunchy. The pizza tasted like it was made from scratch, and all of their ingredients were top notch. My wife used the live in New York, and she said this pizza is the closest thing since she's left the city.

Came here because of Dave Pornoy, One Bite Pizza Review. I was not disappointed. In fact, I personally rate this place a higher score, due to the fact that the menu as a whole, has much more to offer than just Pizza. We did order a large cheese pizza, we dined in, the pizza came out in a timely manner, was super hot and so tasty. It was everything you want a pizza to be, good crunch, excellent tomato flavor from the homemade sauce, high quality cheese, not greasy. Pie had what I felt was the correct balance of sauce to cheese ratio. As a bonus, we got a side of fries, which I expected to be plain ordinary fries, my son in law and I fought over who was going to get more fries than me other. ( I won) We also ordered a dozen freshly made cannolis, delish. I highly recommend this place. This is not an ordinary pizza place, this is a high quality true Italian deli that serves a great pie. I will be back.
