Dunkin'

I USED to go to Dunkin’ every single morning. I would order a coffee (iced or hot but the same way every time) and breakfast. Needless to say, just like most people, I spend entirely too much money on Dunkin’ but still. The customer service has always been lack luster but this year it’s at an all time low, you’re lucky if you even get the person at the window to say a word let alone say you’re welcome or have a great day when you get your order. As if the experience itself wasn’t bad enough my coffee started to become a problem. It was NEVER consistent yet I ordered the same thing EVERYTIME. The second to last time I went I got my hot coffee with French vanilla swirl cream and sugar (I like a little coffee with my sugar and flavor.) I work in temple hills and it was a hot coffee so needless to say I couldn’t try it when I first got it (not that I should have to.) When I got to work I realized there was NO SUGAR and NO VANILLA. I was so irritated because it was a rough morning and I needed coffee. I called and the lady who answered was rude and basically said “we’ll come back and we will fix it” I told her I’m in temple hills I can’t come all the way back to LaPlata and her response was well I don’t know what you expect me to do for you then... at that point I requested to speak to the owner. He got on the phone and apologized and asked me to please give them another chance. He told me what times he would be there and said he promised he would make it right... this brings me to today.. my final straw... ordered a hot coffee.... EXACTLY the same way... got to work.. you already know.... NO SUGAR NO VANILLA. Just cream. I will NEVER go to this Dunkin’ again!

Dunkin Donuts-Laplata Visited with my mask on. I saw that two of the employees were not wearing masks and the only employee who wore theirs was the person working the drive through. I asked if I was required to wear a mask. She didnt give me an answer so I took it off. She then tells me I have to put it back on. I was confused. The people who are preparing food don't have to wear it but I'm required? Doesn't make sense but I start to put my mask back on anyways. I questioned why they don't have to wear a mask but I do. She then says, If you're not going to wear a mask you have to leave! That escalated quickly. I told her I was just asking a question. She snaps back and says, and I answered it! She didn't answer anything. She told me I had to leave if I wasn't going to wear a mask that I was in the process of putting back on! She tells me again that I have to leave. I would understand if I raised my voice or became aggressive. I was soft spoken and shocked at her behavior. I chose my words carefully in hopes the situation wouldn't escalate. She couldn't give me an answer as to why she could prepare my food maskless but I was required to wear it. I told her how she acted was unnecessary and left. Not because I minded wearing the mask but because of how she treated me.
