Great spot for a quick bite in a super convenient location. Service was amazing and my Italian sub was delicious. Generous portions and reasonable prices. The craft beer menu also had some great picks on it.

Great bar at the end of bird rock right before Windansea. Cocktails are on point and pizzas are great. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly patio too!

Great environment. Both times I've been here the wait staff has been attentive. Their veggie pizza is a solid 9.1/10 (one bite everyone knows the rules). But seriously, the pizza is really good! Pricey but a good spot for special occasions or to get a drink.

I am not really a pizza person but Wheat and Water was wonderful! The crust is very delicious and everything was well seasoned. The service was nice and the restaurant is a great spot to watch any game night with TVs on most walls. The buffalo wings were super crispy and enough spice to make your nose run and still delicious! The drinks were too dry for our taste but at least you get your moneys worth in alcohol. The mozzarella cheese on our margarita pizza was not melted which made it tough and over powered to pizza. Overall though we will be coming back.

Missed out on Fried Chicken Monday but got the Thursday night dinner service. Great place, good food, pizzas are fantastic. Service was great, really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend.

We LOVE Wheat & Water! The pizza is one of a kind and super authentic. The staff that waited on us, Rebecca & Peyton both made our experience fantastic. They are kind and very experienced! We highly recommend coming here for a local and delicious experience in San Diego! We can’t wait to come back with our friends!

Really wanted to love this place since pizza is my love language. I think we had an “understaffed” unusual night. Bless the staffs heart, they were running around hustling.
We made reservations and requested a high-chair. Upon arrival we were seated at a high-top in the bar. Took a little effort but the staff was able to move us.
When you’re running thin you forget things like water, small side dishes, notes for high chairs or infants in bars :)
When the food did arrive, it was tasty. Would love to come back when it’s not a holiday weekend.
