This place is industrial modern with some classical pieces thrown in. It is absolutely gorgeous. I ordered a Cease and Delicious. It was fruity, but not too sweet. I liked that the alcohol wasn't overpowering. My husband ordered the Black Betty. His drink was stronger, but it still had a great taste - he kept stealing mine, though. We didn't get food, but plan on going back for it. The place was amazing.

Food was really inconsistent. The chicken thighs taco, party fowl I think, was excellent had good flavor and spice. By contrast the pork belly was greasy and tough and flavorless. And it doesn't help that the tortillas are not grilled or heated at all. Same with appetizers guacamole and green salsa for excellent red salsa and the queso not so much. It's a cool place with a good vibe and a good location, if only their food was a little bit better. That's it quite a bit of beers and a ton of tequilas to make all kinds of delicious margaritas.

The best DAMN corn on the cob I've ever had in my life! Our waitress, Grace was amazing & sweet. Thank u Grace, for our amazing dinner b4 the concert!! ;)

Really nice aesthetic. Food was good to great. Chips were near perfect. We passed on drinks but they had a large selection of tequilas available. Staff was friendly and courteous. A few notes from our experience: - Place was dirty. Heavy layer of dust on the windows sills, spilled food all over the floor and unmaintained bathrooms. As mentioned the aesthetic was nice and to some degree the grunge fits but should be better maintained and at least feel sanitary. - Some food for our table arrived like warm to cold as if it had been sitting out. On our way out we noticed there was a large amount of food sitting out on the counter waiting to be served. - Staff did not wear masks. - Was a 1.75 hour wait on a Friday evening (game weekend), worth noting if on a strict schedule. Clean up the place and serve the food hot then it would be 4.5 to 5 star experience. Still a near place to go if looking for a unique spot in downtown Knoxville. I'd be willing to give Chivos another chance on a less crowded day.

Bounced around between 4 and 5 stars...but I like to reserve my 5 star reviews for special places. As I can't leave a 4.5 star review. I rounded up out if respect for what we got going on. Anyways, high end Mexican food. Fresh homemade chips are amazing, queso amazing. My wife said the cocktails were really good, you could taste the alcohol. We sampled 10 tacos....bought the whole lot except for the fish ones as my wife hates fish. All were good and good size tacos,no dinky street taco type. Stand out was the deep fried avocado one, steak and the one with the Korean BBQ. Only reason fir not a full 5 star? No taco combo plates...at average of 4 bucks a taco dinner can ad up quick. Defently save room for the churos...SO worth it. Would defently go back 4 buck a piece or not lol

Love the atmosphere, the food was ok, I had the codfather and I believe the fish would have been better by itself with the aioli as a dip. The queso was good but the house made chips were thick and a little over done. Not light and crispy but heavy and dark. They advertise the best margarita in Knoxville while it had great flavor. $10 for the smallest house margarita in Knoxville was not worth it. It would need twice the tequila for that. The street corn was delicious but the limp brisket lacked flavor. We were disappointed after reading the other reviews.

‘‘Twas good!! I ordered the brisket burrito. I could only finish 1/2 of it 🤣. We also ordered guacamole and queso dip. They also have quite the selection of adult beverages. Great service made for a nice evening.
