Subway

I came here 2 weeks ago and stood in line for 10 minutes and some guy behind me had to yell for them so come up front because we could hear them laughing. I didn’t make a scene or anything just ordered my sandwich and left. Tonight I go in and I stand there for 10 minutes and no one is up front. I could’ve made my own sandwich and left and no one would’ve noticed. Night crew is lacking in customer service and just paying attention in general.

Hands down the worst customer service experience I’ve had at any Subway. I noticed after the fact my sandwich was made completely wrong, I was charged for a different sandwich, and when I let them know of the mistake I was greeted with nothing but defensiveness and attitude. I was surprised at how much effort went into their part in explaining how it wasn’t their fault instead of just listening to the customer and fixing the problem. The shift manager working and one of her employees should probably receive some sort of remedial customer service training. I’m not saying the customer is always right or that customers should receive any sort of special treatment. I’m saying paying customers should be able to say they enjoyed their overall experience. I did not. Normally I wouldn’t expect a response to a review like this but with how argumentative the manager was, I can’t imagine her passing up the opportunity to make sure she’s heard. Because that seemed to be very important to them.

Very, very nice staff. Young people who cares about customer service and their job. Friendly and light chatter. The young man helping my husband and I even asked about the Giardiniera peppers 🌶 😋 I told him about our large Italian population in Chicago.! Thank you for the friendly service and hope you guys aspire to go far in life or own your very own franchise. Thank you.!
