OMG yum!!! If you make it to Maui you have to make the quick drive to Kihei and eat here. Everything we tried was amazing. Definitely recommend the ahi sliders. �
Totally random stop, glad we found it. BBQ pork sliders were tender, juicy and delicious. Perfect amount of smoke flavor. Garlic shrimp tacos were fire too. You guys know what you're doing, we will be back. Mahalo!
First time trying and there was nothing to complain about. The guava buns were a very nice combination with the buffalo chicken sliders. The Davy jones burger was hugeee. And out of a few places this place at least gave you curly fries but no drink. Spent close to 40 bucks for what we got.
I got the Kalypso. Single handedly the best fish burger I have ever had in my life. Ever.
Update: came back just for the Ahi tacos. Granted, they're not cheap, but it's Hawaii, right? Almost forgot to take another picture. (It's the one with just two) Also, there's a crunch - macadamia nuts maybe? Worth having twice in three days for me!
Came yesterday and got the Coconut shrimp plate. Not amazing, but fresh and hot and pretty good. They don't use too much mayo in their Mac salad, which many places do. About $15... not too bad. So I thought I'd give them another shot. They hit it out of the park with their Ahi tacos. Perfectly cooked fish, with a sauce that did not overwhelm and was very tasty. A nice touch is the stone ground tortillas. They look to be some kind of multi-grain. Pricy though, at nearly twenty bucks for three. But there are other places to try.
My wife is extremely picky about fish, even though we come from the Pacific Northwest. But she has been overjoyed by the beer batter fish at this food truck! Light and crispy breading that didn't overpower the fresh fish. Highly recommend the food trucks on Piikea Avenue, but you can't go wrong with Da Nani Pirates.
Their fish tacos are very very good. Fish and chips on a return visit were even better. I’m very glad we stopped - you should try their pork sliders as well. The bread is so different and unique. Has a poignant but pleasant flavor and mixes perfectly with the sliders.
Delicious seared ahi tacos, jumbo coconut shrimp, ono fish tacos, crispy calamari. Friendly help with a nice smile. Highly recommend.
We got the Davy johns burger (HUGE) and the shoyu chicken. Both were amazing. Did I say the burger was huge? FYI, the burger is huge. Came with onion rings. Huge burger. Really good, quality burger. Also their mac salad is good.
Best grilled fish tacos I had during my 5 day stay in Maui! We stopped by on our way to the airport and wow! What a happy note to end on!
Fish Tacos Didn't Disappoint!
We came here based on reviews and we were very pleased. Portions were large and prices very reasonable. My fish tacos were bursting with flavor and my husband's huge burger (can't remember what it's called) was a showstopper. Highly recommended!
The Big Kahuna- so delicious! The value for the quantity is top notch! The Mac salad was excellent as well!
