A popular food truck tucked away off South Kihei Rd. Prices are pretty reasonable, ranging from $3 to $6 per taco (more for seafood). The shrimp, Ono and Mahi tacos were served basic with shredded romaine, shredded cheese and chopped tomatoes on a flour tortilla. We added hot sauce for a little zing. The street tacos are not fancy nor a big meal but good value (esp if not getting premium fish).

We knew we were going to have a lot of fish tacos on our trip to Maui, so obviously our dinner on our first night was just that! AngryRussian decided to take us to Horhitos Mobile Taqueria. They have pretty good reviews and is popular in Maui due to their lower prices. But I was suspicious since the pictures online were a couple years old.
Stumbled across this truck during a walk, and the high traffic here led me in. I was not disappointed! The shrimp tack was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the fish taco and fish sandwich were outstanding, and even the special bacon hot dog with jalapeño and onion was superb. Can you tell that I ate here more than once?
Would not recommend the lemonade, as it was far too weak for fresh squeeze. Otherwise, a real treat in Kihei.
My boss treated me one time over at this food van, and I'm addicted. Great taste for a decent price. Shrimp tacos are ono, and my favorite! You have to try it.
How good is this place. I never eat food out of a van BUT this is incredible and so cheap. Confront your fears.
This place comes highly recommended from both urbanspoon and tripadvisor.. I ate here twice while in Maui, and I enjoyed their tacos. I tried the beef, chicken and shrimp tacos the first time. The second time I just got chicken tacos because I liked those the best. They come with some sort of tasty chipolte mayo or something.. It's good... I liked them even more of flour tortillas instead of corn. Just ask for that... I would come back again. They're not as good or obviously as cheap as $1 street tacos I can get back home, but for $2 each and to be on the beach in Hawaii, you really aren't going to beat it. I've looked...

Amazing Mexican food. We had pastor tacos and pastor supreme burrito. Both were super delicious. We paid $20 for 2 people and ate nicely. The pastor was juicy and perfectly cooked. Atmosphere is also pretty good with nice Mexican music playing in the background. A cheap, delicious and clean food truck.
I've had the small Taco's, which are actually really good. Surely everyone's taste is different. But this appears to be real good Mexican street Taco's.
Ask what they recommend and you'll be delighted. The Taco's are kinda small, but tasteful. It gives you the opportunity to try different ones, rather than having just one.
The location directly at the street is okay, but not ideal for small kids. Otherwise, no complaints.
My favourite place to eat when I visit Maui. Not just the Mexican food is amazing, the American food is great too. So many authentic taco choices. Any Maui vacation, the taco truck is one of the things I look forward to most.
Delicious street tacos. Affordable and delicious what more could you ask for. Quick service and lots of options. We got the grilled shrimp and the pastor, and they were both excellent. Will definitely return!
CHEAPEST to-go food on Maui that we found. 5 stars for the value you're getting for $3 tacos ($2 vegetarian which were great). You'll find better tacos for sure, but not at these prices. There's a nice shaded table area to enjoy the quick and easy fare.

Finally tried this place, we were craving taco Tuesday tacos so we decided to give this place a try. I've driven by it so many times I feel bad I hadn't tried it sooner. So good! This place is a true street taco place. Run down tables in a parking lot. No bathrooms but I'm okay with that, if people co.plain about the cleanliness then I dont think they frequent street vendors very often. We ordered up one of each type of taco. Place wasnt super packed but did take 10 minutes to get our first order. I'm alright with waiting but if you go there starving your mouth will water. They had a sauce I dont k how what it is but it's in a big squeeze bottle and it was tasty. Out of all the tacos I liked the chicken and El Pastor the best. The chicken meat was high quality and of all the tacos it was the most packed, definitely a steal for 2 for $5. I plan on going back and giving their quesadillas a try, and slowly go down the board until I've tried everything. It's worth a stop and eat, so glad I finally went here as I ride by it so much. Quick cheap meal! A steal for the price especially here on Maui. I would recommend this for anyone craving tacos.
Tacos were really good. The prices were great too considering the location and proximity to the beach and shopping area. $2 for $5 plus a $2 lemonade, not bad for a lunch. Service was fast and friendly. If you're around go grab some.
Food is great!! Chicharron was delicious! Went back to buy more at night but, of course, they sold out(not surprised). Mexi-cheese steak was delicious as was the cabeza tacos. Kind of a long wait, but you should be on island time anyway. Definitely worth the wait.
So good! I had the shrimp tacos everyone had recommended. Very tasty and such a deal. My daughter's fries were crispy and delicious. And my son's pastor taco was good. They're very friendly and like to chat with their customers. We also liked the covered eating area as well to relax in the shade. A great spot for an affordable and tasty meal.
Stopped by today for a quick bite. The Cabo shrimp taco was amazing. Lightly battered and topped with cole slaw! Yum!
As food trucks go, this one is 5 star due to friendly service, very fresh and delicious tacos, quick, easy and affordable. Many condiment options. Served in carry out containers, nice for a beach picnic.
