We got the Hawaiian, Blue Pie, and the Margarita pizzas.
I loved the Blue pie but no one else in our party liked it. Strong Gorgonzola flavor.
The side salad hit the spot. Skip the prepackaged dressing and go for the olive oil and vinegar.
Garlic knots were also a must!!

I must say we have encountered really terrible service at most every place we stopped at in The Keys. This restaurant was incredible; from taking our order, to serving our food, to saying goodbye.
I like they offer a single slice option. The salad was delicious and of course the mozzarella sticks were, too.
We may go back one more time before we travel back home!
Big John’s Pizzeria Is Great! Their pizza is good. The interior is decorated beautifully with the lights, and all the great Italian decorations. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Without doubt I recommend Big John’s Pizzeria. Have a great day!
I have eaten in and had delivery from here. So good!!! The ultimate we had in restaurant and was absolutely delicious, so much flavor. The stuffed pizza was also delicious, with the perfect marrying of flavors. The only thing I would like to say was bad was that we only were given two tiny containers of sauce. For the size of the pizza, the hefty amounts of ingredients, we could easily used a quart of sauce! Lol.
One of the best mom and pop pizzerias in the Florida Keys! Everything was delicious! The all-the-way pizza couldn’t have been better. Loaded with toppings on a New York style crust. The salad was perfect as an appetizer along with their famous garlic knots! Plenty of garlic butter and parmesan cheese on crispy outside yet doughy inside bread bites. The spaghetti was great with a huge portion and more garlic knots! All you can drink fountain pop as well! The staff was very friendly and polite when we ordered and took very good care of us. They also serve and sell a variety of wines and desserts! Located in Key Plaza, a must try pizza joint in the New Town of Key West. Very pleased and will definitely be back next time!

Photos should speak for themselves. For 25+ years of experience, this place knows what they’re doing. Best place for good food & a good time. Next time you’re in key west & want GOOD new york style italian food, eat at BIG JOHN’S!!
As a Conch Local that's traveled and eaten lots of good Italian.. Omg what a surprise, this was so good! I'm stuffed and so happy I tried this place out! Exceeded my expectations and so glad we have a place this good for Italian for the people! Omg once again seriously I'm taking everyone here when they visit! Eggplant Parm with Garlic knots was omg so good I'm going back again tomorrow for the same thing.
This is the best pizza I have tried in all of the keys. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and very good quality. It's very cliche to say the best New York style pizza but honestly the crust is some of the best I have ever eaten. Thank you BIG JOHN!
