Legit; we all got the “big Texan” which was a simple brisket and sausage bbq sandwich that tasted like someone knew what they were doing. Great balance with pickles and onions. Unlike a lot of BbQ places, their sauce was actually really good too. This is a can’t miss for a quick, awesome lunch, at a great price. Would have loved to have tried their other meats.
we love love love love the brisket and mac and cheese. the coleslaw was yummy and the potato salad had a nice kick to it... We ordered double meat and got the smoked sausage. terrific!!
We chose to sit right there at the picnic tables that had a nice shady canopy. This is real homemade BBQ! seriously delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Outstanding! Definitely worth the stop to this roadside bbq joint. Portions are massive and quality of the food far exceeded my expectations. I had 1/2 rack of ribs with macaroni and cheese, baked beans with jalapeño cornbread. I will be stopping by here much more often. The prices are fair, the food is great, what more reason do you need.
Picked up some ribs, pulled pork, sausage, green beans ,cole slaw, baked beans, and mac n cheese on the fly. Every single portion was huge and delicious. I have some favorite places in S Carolina and Tenn. but Mike's is amazing and now tied for my favorite!
If you happen to pass by on your way to the keys, just stop and eat. Absolutely the most delicious BBQ food i have had in sometime. The chicken was amazing, the sauces are yummy. Spicy Corn Bread is the best surprise. People are friendly. Overall an awesome bbq experience.

Best place I have eaten at in Key Largo, and probably the cheapest too! Food was great, and came out about 5 mins after we ordered it. Service was super nice!

I read reviews about Mikes before we went there because I am a big fan of authentic smoked food as I smoke meat myself. If you smoke your own food it is hard to replicate that anywhere else, well I did indeed find that at Mike’s. We tried the ribs and pulled pork and let me tell you it is truly wonderful smoked food. Mike is doing it right!!! I would definitely put this on your list of BBQ places to try. The side dishes were all good!
