Sol by the Sea was an amazing restaurant with a splendid scenery. We came with my grandparents and they had a great time walking down the pier and enjoying the mouth-watering cuisine! The drinks are tasty , the scenery is amazing, and the food is perfection. What’s not to love?!?
Stopped here randomly on the way to Marathon. Was so pleased and surprised. The view is amazing. The atmosphere is awesome. We ordered the fish tacos and the grouper sandwich. I have to say this was the best meal we had in all of key west. It was fresh, delicious and not too bad price wise considering it’s connected to a resort. Our waitress was friendly and recommended some fun things to do on our trip since this was our first stop. I definitely am going to book a stay here next time I visit. It seems like a hidden gem!
Reservations are required and checked by the gate guard so make sure to make a reservation on the open table app. We went for lunch. I had the fish tacos and fries. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. They have a kids menu and my kids had a burger and Mac n cheese. The view from this restaurant was amazing. The restaurant is open air and the views are truly stunning. The food was average. My fish tacos were good but contained very little fish. Maybe four chunks of fish total. The salsa in the taco was very tasty. The tacos came with heavily seasoned waffle fries which were average. I had a few bites of my husband's chicken sandwich which was average in taste and a good portion size. Kids loved the Mac n cheese and burger. No complaints there. Server was helpful assisting me with picking a dish that didn't have eggs or nuts due to my son's food allergies. I would definitely return for another meal due to the lovely service and amazing views.
Wonderful and amazing experience. Anet was "OUTSTANDING" waitress. Wonderful customer service, professional (knew the menu), nice, kind and consistent on checking on our table. We had two people in our group from Paraguay and never been to the United States, Key Largo or SOL. Anet was able to make them feel comfortable, in greeting them and group, explaining the menu in Spanish to them while speaking English is the rest of the group. Anet recommended food that was excellent tasting and enjoyable. Thank you Anet you were Outstanding. Overall experience: Anet service, the SOL view of the water, the quality of the taste if the food and dessert was overwhelming to our guests and wonderful and amazing time spent there. Planning to return again. In addition the staff was willing to take a group photo of us.
We were in Miami for our vacation and just by passing we came to this place SOL BY THE SEA as we had our 1st visit there and the view was just so fabulous and we were welcomed by the host shiv the way he greeted us and welcomed us with his resort card his name written on it. He also came and checked on table are we good and enjoying our evening that was really appreciated.
Also the food was amazing we had the whole fish which was really delicious 😋 and yummy and lobster Mac was tasty as well our server Roberto was great he gave us the good food suggestions which we loved and he was very presentable.
It was the lovely evening and great experience Thank you to all the staff also if again we visit Miami for vacation we will surely come to sol by the sea.
We stayed at the hotel for my husband’s birthday trip and had dinner and brunch at Sol by the Sea. The food And the service was 5 ⭐️. Lazar and Ismael were our servers and we couldn’t ask for a better service. Chef Ricardo food was outstanding. One of the best food we have had in Florida. The manager, Jeremy was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. I recommend 100% this restaurant and we are coming back for sure.
This place has the feeling of a hidden gem although there were quite a few people dining. Upon entering the open area was very inviting and airy with a very seaside vibe. We were greeted with a smile from a very welcoming staff and seated quickly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The menu is simple and easy to understand with a great selection of items to order. I ordered the fish special which at the time was Mahi Mahi, my wife ordered the lobster roll, while we ordered our baby a burger and some fruit. Everything came out delicious and fresh and the proportions were appropriate. Once again, the staff was very helpful and gave their recommendations. Their drinks were also quite good and complimented our lunch well. If you are passing through or visiting Key Largo, I would definitely recommend checking out Sol by the Sea for great service and equally great food.
Amazing AS ALWAYS. Always great service, friendly and welcoming, and delicious food, drinks and dessert! Leticia, sweetest hostess sat us at the most comfortable table with gorgeous view, Ismiel was the friendliest and most accommodating server (and very kid friendly), and Chef Ricky prepared food cooked to perfection even with special requests. Would love to keep this place my little secret so I don't have to fight the rest of you for a table but it would be a crime not to post the very well deserved compliments to this amazing staff. By the way, we have been here several times and its ALWAYS the same friendly service accompanying flavorful food! Much love, thank you always for treating us like family :)
The restaurant is very nicely located. Enough parking lots in front and a view of the sea throughout the whole meal. We were there with 4 adults and 2 small children and were more than well served. The price-performance ratio is super!

The atmosphere was beautiful, the aesthetic of the restaurant was overall very pretty and rustic. Really enjoyed the vibe. The food was delicious! I recommend the heirloom tomato salad.
