Fresh, amazing seafood with a great marina view. Quiet and great prices. This is a hidden gem :)
Family friendly. Great service, great prices and awesome food! So far #1. There's also a fresh catch seafood store!
Outstanding fresh seafood and a wonderful outdoor space! Their Lobster BLT is one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had and worth every dime, I definitely recommend it.
Wow! The best, freshest seafood we've had since being in the keys! Crab chowder, fried shrimp plate, mixed seafood platter, Caesar salad, plantains, and the lobster blt. We sat right at the marina as we watched boats come and go. Very casual (disposable plates) and outdoor dining.
I'm a local! Love this place! Best Stoney's ever! Makes that Miami stone crab place look like a joke! Do yourself a favor and seek this place out! :)
Been customer of seafood market for many years. First time to eat at the Backyard their outdoor restaurant. Best fried conch ever. Good prices. Window service was very quick. Nice outdoor eating area overlooking a marina and working boats. No indoor seating so it can be hot. Still a great market inside.
Still a great place to eat if you don't mind sitting outside overlooking a marina. Good beer selection in bottles. Soups/chowder excellent. Many good places to eat in Keys and this is as good as any.
Mahi & grouper sandwiches were delish! Super fresh fish is their specialty and it shows. Marina atmosphere will not please everyone but this Yankee loved it!
Love this place! Delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Had a seasar wrap with shrimp and it was so yummy! Thanks!!
Super tasty! Had grilled snapper and hogfish, along with awesome conch fritters. Highly recommend for lunch in key largo...
Been to Key Largo a number of times but didn't find this place until I looked on UrbanSpoon. A little hard to find off US1 but food was great. I had grilled hogfish sandwich and seafood bisque, which were really good. Staff was helpful and when I asked what was in the soup, the chef offered a sample. A little pricey at about $24 for soup, sandwich, fries and drink but worth the visit. I'll be back
Excellent. Relaxed backyard atmosphere adjacent to boat docks. Very well priced menu, nice portions, friendly staff. And the conch salad, mahi salad, and scallops were delicious! Well worth your attention.
Exceptional! Shared a lobster BLT, an order of conch fritters, and a slice of KLP for just over $30, and had plenty of food for two. Pull off hwy 1 now and eat here!
Had a nice afternoon on the water. Food was good. There is no table service, but ordering at the counter was easy. I had the whole yellowtail which was cooked perfectly and my wife had a lobster BLT. Both items were delicious.
The hog fish sandwich was so tasty could have had another one. The conch fritters were the best I had in the keys. The batter was so tasty and the dipping sauce had a good amount of spice and tangyness if that's a word ! . It's a bit like an old fashioned vafe order in o e window pick up food in another window. As a Cafe you can't go wrong
Highly recommended! Their food was fresh, whole fried yellowtail was amazing. But the best part was a chance to feed the sharks! They have scrap fish for small donations. Compared to Robbie's that charges you entering fee plus the cost of buckets of fish, you'll get way better experience & satisfaction here.
Only giving service 3 stars, because there is no table service, and that's a damn shame. Third or fourth time I've had lunch here and the food is always top -notch. It's window service only, so do yourself a favor and order two beers (or three) when you order 😎. Grilled/blackened fish always great, and today the tuna tacos were great, tuna was swimming not that long ago! Nice covered outdoor seating right by the dock, watch the tarpon and nerf sharks while you wait/dine.
This is a hidden gem! It’s not your typical sit down restaurant. You order at the window and then sit and wait to pick up your food but wow everything was Amazing here! I would definitely be back.
It is a beautiful place to have a restaurant with fresh seafood. Watch the pelicans and the fishes as the restaurant employees feed the fish. Variety of choices in the menu and the lobster roll was just amazing. It's a great place to have lunch. Pina colada drink was great as well. A must visit spot if in the key largo area.
The food was good. There's no table service, you order at counter and pick up your order when it's ready. No frills, picnic style outdoor seating. I had the fried grouper basket with fries and was pleased with the amount of fish in the serving. My wife had the lobster roll and thought it was lacking something?
Super fresh seafood! Went to the place 2 days in a row!
The service is fast, and the portion is gorgeous!
Will definitely miss it !🉑
Fried oysers and blakened snapper along with fried plantains side were very good. Portion sizes are small. But I am.glad we stopped by this restaurant for lunch during our visit to keys.
Hands down some of the best seafood in the keys! The catch of the day was absolutely delicious. I knew when we first pulled up this place was legit, there was line of people all the way out to the parking lot.
The lines move fast, the staff is extremely professional, the menus are simple to read without confusion, and the call to option with the digital table alert system is flawless.
The views were amazing as well. As we waited for our food we watched a fisherman's captain filet his fresh catch of the day. You can tell me he was a natural as I watch him filet at least 10 big fish in under 10 minutes.
The boats were very interesting as they were from all parts of the world. My favorite was the triple tiered fisherman's boat.
Cool place, cool vibe, and would highly recommend 👌
