It's been about ten years since I've been back here. Hasn't changed much. However, it's a good thing. The lodge is a great place to have a cocktail after skiing. Also, a great place to have a meal. Huddle up to the fire pit after a hard day of skiing. Loads of fun with a group.
Amazing place! We're just once a year skiers but this is where we always come! Everything here and at Sun Valley Lodge is top notch highly recommend to anyone such a great experience year after year.
I didn’t take the gondola or do anything inside the lodge. But the hike was fabulous and the water fountain at the base near the grass was the best water fountain I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Excellent pressure and the coldest water. I couldn’t stop drinking! Visit for the water fountain if nothing else.
Comfortable, large spaces , welcoming and friendly lodge. One of the nicest Lodge I’ve seen. Worth stopping to warm up, grab a drink or something to eat.
My kids went snowboarding at River Run 6 days in a row and loved it. Clean, friendly and super organized. Their restaurant on top is also another highlight after hours of snowboarding. Their gift shop is out of this world. I got the most beautiful boots there and their ski clothes are fabulous!
I stayed here for a few hours while others boarded, but I was able to sit by a warm fire, kick my feet up and relax. The staff were very kind and friendly, I was able to get food and drinks without issue and everything was cleaned frequently. I felt very safe in here!
The lift was also incredibly close to the lodge, making it a quick in/out for those enjoying the snow.
Sometimes you just gotta get out of the cold... I did for sure then the Temps hit the teens. Had a great Bloody Mary and my lady had a Cider. Just what we needed before one last long run.
