A wonderful local restaurant that dishes out some really great food! Prices are great and service with a smile. They have daily specials but also a full menu. You can also order breakfast all day long.
Something everybody can agree on. Whenever I'm with a group of friends and we can't decide where to go for dinner, I suggest the Plaza. Why? The food is good, and tastes authentically homemade. The service is always decent. The main reason, though, is that there is a dish at the Plaza for just about everyone. They're short on vegetarian options, but there is more than one veg option and I appreciate that. I usually get a vegetable plate because I'm kind of in love with that applesauce.
Excellent!. Food was very good. Service was excellent. Sundays are extremely busy with the church crowds but the food and service is always excellent, even when they are very busy.
It is nice to see the owner on site working the room and seems to sincerely care how your meal and service was!
My favorite is hard to tell. Everything is good and I'm not just saying that. The reuben is to die for. They have daily specials. I'll be honest, probably the best restaurant in town. More people need to know about this place. I've been a resident of Kville for several years and a lot of the other restaurants seem to be hit and miss. Plaza seems to always do very well. Keep it up!
And don't change the meat sauce! Only thing I wish they had were TVs.

Very good food!. The wife had their grilled reuben sandwich. She raved over how good it was. I had the grecian baked chicken and potatoes. Very good, as well. Cooked just right and juicy, too.
My sister had their burger, which was huge. Along the same size as something from Fuddruckers. Her husband had the beef strips. He loved them.
Nice to see a place that does it right. Also nice to see what looked like half of Kernersville's police department dining there too. That's always a good sign!

Fine Little Diner. On the way back from Winston recently, we decided to stop in here for lunch, and found out that this place is still very good. The homemade potato chips are excellent with the ranch dressing. The sandwiches here are good, especially the Chicken Souvlakia and the hot dogs.
I had the spaghetti with meat sauce, and they do a great job with this dish. Their fried seafood is always on target, as well. And the fries are really outstanding, among my favorites. The Beef Stew is one of the few things here that I don'tt care for - more like beef soup.
This little place is in a little strip center across from Prissy Polly's. It can get busy and a little hectic at peak times, but the wait staff and the kitchen do a good job, This is another of the Greek run restaurants in this area that is consistently good.

Large portions and good service. Homestyle food - nothing fancy. Mixture of good stuff and cafeteria style foods, but nothing bad on a big menu.
Awesome little restaurant.. I have to agree with Jess. The Plaza is a great little restaurant. Nothing fancy, but they don't pretend to be either. Sure, the decor is a bit dated, but who is going to spend the money in this economy? I'd rather the owner/manager spend it on the food.
We eat there 3-4 times a week at lunch. The place is full and mostly business folks. Service is prompt, in fact, the servers usually know what I drink and have it ready for me. Find that kind of knowledge of customers at a chain, I doubt it.
Overall, fantastic restaurant that's doing it right. They don't need to change a thing.
Great Food!. The food is always good and always the consistent. It has to be one of the better deals in town. I can eat there for $7 and have food to take home.
The previous reviewer must have some gripe. Everybody I speak with recommends the Plaza. Staff is great, food is great, service is great and the place is clean.

I had arranged to meet my friend here for lunch on a Thursday. I’m not ashamed to admit that I chose Thursday because I had reviewed the daily specials and I really wanted the country style steak and fixings. But then her schedule changed and we met on Tuesday. Lately, I just can’t get enough shrimp and they had a 12 oz portion of fried gulf shrimp, so I ordered that with my two side choices of the hot chips and my mandatory two cups of ranch dressing and the fried squash. When she sat it down in front of me, she said, “small order of shrimp etc…”. I hadn’t remembered seeing a size choice but I thought I had missed it. Well, check out the picture. My plate was loaded with shrimp plus hush puppies! The light breading was seasoned really well and I could only eat about half. The hot chips were consistent in their crispness and the fried squash? OMG YUMMY! I polished those right off. My friend got the philly cheesesteak and hot chips. If you’re wondering how many cups of ranch she ordered, also two. You don’t get to be my bestie if you order 1 ranch! I really wanted to try the chocolate eclair cake but I was stuffed. Normally, I would have taken it to go but I wasn’t going straight home and it was like 300 degrees outside, so nope. The checks aren’t priced but I was expecting it to be $15 for the shrimp plus the tea. It rang up as $8.99 plus the tea. That’s right, they only charged me for the Senior Meal which was 8 oz of shrimp. While I don’t “think” I look 65, I really appreciated the huge savings. 🥳.
I’ve eaten other things here in the past but hadn’t reviewed so here’s a list of what we’ve had that was delicious: baked spaghetti, meatball sub, cheeseburger club and for breakfast Hubs gets the hearty Plaza Sampler and I love their French toast with bacon!
The service is always friendly and fast. They never let me run out of beverage which I greatly appreciate and they offer to go cups. Check out their menu, it’s HUGE.
When ever you in Kernersville, N.C. please check this restaurant out when looking for food. Nice selection from Grilled Chicken, Hamburgers, Seafood, Italian/Spaghetti and Steak. Nice selection of Veggies too. Local Restaurant own by a sweet couple.
As a driver I don't get much home time but me and the wife have been talking about trying this restaurant out. We were not disappointed. We worry about trying new places but this place is amazing. Definitely plan on coming back.

The variety of foods and everything I have tried has been yummy. Love their liver & onions. Service is very friendly and fast. A real asset to Kernersville.
