Talk about GREAT seafood, atmosphere & service! Payton was a phenomenal server who any table would be lucky to have. Crab legs, shrimp, scallops & shrimp tacos were cooked to perfection. We will most definitely be back!!

Six of us went out to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our server was very kind and afforded our table just the right amount of attention. She impressively took all six orders, including modifications, and accurately submitted them by memory. Everyone recd their correct order as requested and in a timely manner. The food was excellent and the bar drinks were perfect. Unfortunately, a major storm came up and the power went out. As we were seated outside, we were able to complete our meals before they had to shut down and requested all patrons to vacate. The staff was kind while efficiently vacating the premises. Again, everyone in our party greatly enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend Smitty's for a casual, yet exceptional, dining experience.
This bar is awesome! It's designed to sit with strangers, it's such a nice experience and the waitresses are the best so far, greetings to Payton such a funny person!
Probably my personal favorite probably go 3 times year the last 10 years the food is amazing. I honestly don't don't know how to describe the place. It's clean the staff is always great most of the seats are at a winding bar with a couple tables it puts you in mind of a local restaurant that would be on the ocean in a cool little town not an upscale atmosphere at all. The food on the other hand could be served at any 5 star location in the world and everyone would leave with a grin. If you haven't been your missing out put on your jeans tee shirt and a baseball hat and go eat like like a fortune 500 business executive that just hit the lottery it's that good.
Great food and great service. I liked the atmosphere of this place albeit a little noisy. I think most of that was from the 4 women at the table next to us having a great time enjoying life! Waitress was phenomenal! Mostly bar seating but not necessarily a bar feeling there. A few tables out side also.

Smitty’s has better seafood than I found at the beach!!!!! And I grew up on the coast of Virginia. If they can’t find the best and freshest they prefer to take it off of the menu temporarily. Carli, Johnna, Lane, Madison, Emily, Alyssa and the rest of the serving staff are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of tipping! AND they don’t cheat you on a good drink either. The cooks are amazing! Have you seen the miraculous food that comes out of that tiny kitchen? The only downside is the people standing behind you waiting for an open spot!! The STAFF NEVER makes you feel like you need to hurry and leave so they can turn your seat!!!!!! It’s the rude people waiting making comments that can leave you feeling rushed. Smitty maybe you can consider a way to have waiting patrons wait while not breathing down our necks!! An app or other method of notification that keeps them at least 6 feet away while I’m enjoying a meal would be appreciated by both eating and waiting customers. This isn’t a bar this is a fantastic fine eating establishment that is in the shape of a bar.
