Great food is sometimes hidden in plain sight. I have passed by this Shell gas station many times unaware of the wonderful food inside at Chuco's. Counter has a few seats and there a couple of tables. People here are very friendly. But the food is the star. Authentic, flavorful. Menudo on the weekends made w love and care. Tender and tasty. Carne asada is among the best in DFW. Breakfast tacos served all day. This gem is definitely worth a visit.

Ladies behind the counter could not be friendlier. The food was amazing. Yes, it is small and in a gas station, but it is 100% worth stopping!!!

I was excited to try this place given the great reviews. Flour tortillas are not homemade taking away from the good food inside. The reason for the two stars is because there was a metal wire in one of tacos. No apology was given or discount for the taco.

Lovely people, delicious carnitas, barbacoa and brisket. My new favorite taco spot.
They serve the best menudo we have ever had. Get it on Saturday and Sunday. They are open every day.

So we used to go to Los Juanitos on Davis for breakfast tacos. The last 2 times we went during their "open" hours. No one was there. The third time we went there was 2 trucks there but no one answered the window. So we checked out Chuco's - delicious breakfast tacos & salsa. The corn tortillas were smaller & thinner which I loved! Also you can call in a to go order & it's ready by the time we got there. Los Juanitos doesn't answer their phone 3 out of the 4 times I've called it. It's a farther drive but it's guaranteed delicious!

I never thought I'd find such good tacos and burritos at a gas station, but low and behold I did. My new favorite spot for burritos. Good food and good people.
