Papa Murphy's

Wanted a pre-built non cooked pie to cook in my pellet grill. Turned out great! The lady assembling the pie was fast and efficient and shared some baking tips with me, but I had other plans. Pizza stone on the grill! For my part when I thought it was done it needed a few more minutes to get to get inside crust baked. But I was cooking at a high heat in a shorter time that the directions. Highly recommend this Papa Murphys if you want to bake a good pizza at home without the hassle of kneading dough and buying all the ingredients seperately.

As far as the pizza goes, papa Murphy's is my preferred cheap place (compared to dominos, pizza hut etc). You do have to bake it yourself but that just guarantees it's hot. As far as this location goes, the management need some work. I placed an online order for 10 am. Got there at 9:58, lights off no one in sight. Called no answer, checked website states the open at 10. Wait 5 minutes try again. Call their sister store in Bedford, they state they should be open and will text manager. Manager texts back and says such in traffic. Manager pulls up at 10:30 opens door hands me my pizzas (I guess I don't deserve fresh pizzas but get stuff made the day before) and the apologetically lies to me saying she drove down from Denton and traffic was really bad. Problem is I was just on 35 and it's memorial day and traffic was really light (even with the rain). Had I not already paid I would have left soon after arriving but instead had to wait 30 minutes and barely got an apology. My time apparently isn't worth a sincere apology though it is worth writing this review.

If I could give a zero, I would. Spent $50.00 on three pizzas and when picked up, all three were wrong. Not one pizza matched what I ordered online. I called to discuss the issue with the manager and the phone was never answered after calling for almost an hour. Horrible customer service. We will not be using this location ever again.

Papa Murphys is a good pizza place. You get a lot for your money. As long as you aren't adding extra everything. The stuffed pizza is super good. So much meat and cheese that two normal pieces will wear me out. Being that it's a franchise, store's vary in how well they do the pizza. I'm a little disappointed over the NYXL pizza at this current store. They pre make them and have them in a fridge in the back. And being honest they just aren't as good vs having them made on the spot. (Could just be in my head) Getting to watch them stretch the dough and put the sauce on and add garlic..... if they make them in morning and you get one late afternoon/ evening no telling how long it's been sitting in fridge. But aside from my disappointment in the NYXL they have never failed to be a good value and taste for the money. Just remember...you get to cook them yourself

Love the concept of getting pizza the way you want it, and being able to have it freshly baked at home. Really appreciate the care taken to ensure no allergens made it on my pizza. The cheesy bread is pretty good also...may be my new favorite. UPDATE: Went in expecting a crafted pizza, made with care, but the supervisor on duty and pizza maker were not really concerned about making my pizza correctly...at least that's how it appeared to me. I used to visit weekly, but this may be my last visit for a long while. Maybe it depends on who is working.

We haven't had Papa Murphys since we moved from Colorado almost two years ago. With that said, we were happy to find one close to where we live. My wife and I went in tonight because we both forgot to set meat out for dinner. Of course the menu is basically the same, but what did it for us was the customer service. The gentleman at the register was very inviting and very friendly. I want to say his name was Lloyd, but I regrettably cannot remember. Based on that interaction alone, we will be back.

Best pizza place in town. I get the pizza every time!! The staff is extremely friendly, and are always available to help. It gets busy sometimes but it's worth the go. I come here once a week just to enjoy the food. I would prefer this pizza over any other pizza place in the world. I highly recommend this place for everyone!
