Tropical tacos with chicken lived up to our expectations. Had a good amount of sauce with great flavor. Beans are good as well. Rice is not worth it. This was our third trip to the island and the first time we’ve actually been able to stop here - the hours seem unpredictable. Service was average. Not the friendliest but I guess not everyone loves tourists, surprise surprise. ;) Check the menu before you go for descriptions of the items so you’re not asking a ton of questions.

I was looking for a healthier option in town and found this place. We stopped by for lunch and had the best meal ever! The organic garden salad was excellent. Fresh and simple. And the tropical tacos (fish) were divine. The owner was wonderful to talk to. Very attentive and relaxed vibe. If you are looking for good food and want to be in the flow of the island this is your place.
Amazingly delicious food cooked up by just the nicest guy!! Definitely a new favorite spot for us!!
We ordered the tropical tacos in both shrimp and Ahi. The Ahi was caught earlier that day and seard to perfection! The shrimp tacos had large pieces of shrimp that were seasoned and still juicy after cooked. The tacos came topped with homemade mango salsa that was to die for, two different sauces, and some nice cabbage on the bottom. A generous side of black beans and some leafy greens rounded out the meal with some wonderful Hibiscus lemonade to wash it all down.
We will definitely be going back to buy some jarred mango salsa and order some more tasty food!!

Nice location. You get to watch the tourists driving by as you eat your ahi.
Like their wasabi sauce with their tuna wrap. And have nice cold brew teas.
Made lots of good memories here before. If you call in advance and order, your waiting time is very manageable.
Stumbled onto this place while hanging out in Kappa’a for a couple of hours. I had the Ahi Moro Wrap and it was FANTASTIC! And the price was excellent for what you are getting. The guy grilling up the food (owner?) was super nice and enjoyed making people happy. 😊 I’ll bet that everything is great there. A real gem of a place. Thank you! ☀️
We got ahi burrito and the poke bowl. They were great and really hit the spot. I loved how the burrito was actually pretty spicy/tangy.
I also appreciated how all the single use containers and dishware were fiber-based and compostable.
This was hands down our favorite sandwich on island. The tuna wrap is delicious!!! The owner makes everything fresh and we enjoyed chatting with him. We will be craving this sandwich. Prices were reasonable for the serving size and the lemonade is homemade as well. Yum!!!
Amazing poke salad!! So fresh, light and full of flavours. I came here attracted by the cool vibes of this place and they delivered. Also, very nice and friendly staff made the experience even better.
We went here on a recommendation from some friends who had been to the island previously. They said they went twice on their weeklong stay and I totally see why. The proprietor was VERY friendly and genuine. He was very helpful and it is very obvious that he takes great care and pride in what he does. Between the 4 of us we got the Mermaid Sandwich, the fish tacos, the chicken tacos and the poke bowl. Nothing was bad. Not only that, it was probably the best meal we had on the island during the entire week we were there.
So that expectations are set, this place is very small. By small I mean he’s doing all of it and there is one table outside in front. Everything was cooked fresh to order so it took a bit, but it wasn’t overly long. It was definitely on the shorter side of reasonable, especially when you factor in the quality and flavor of the food.
I would HIGHLY recommend stopping and grabbing a meal here and I would even say it’s worth going out of your way to do it.
