We stop here multiple times each visit. We try different items but the carnitas is our go to with their fresh guacamole on the side. They are very generous with the meat and one taco is perfect for lunch. Filling but not overly so. Service is fast and polite. If you want Hawaiian style tacos this place is a must.
Have gone to tiki tacos twice and both times were amazing. We tried 6 different tacos and enjoyed all. My husband really liked the spicy chicken and spicy pork. I had a fish ono taco and a pulled pork both awesome. Also loved my chicken taco with the guacamole! The shells are thicker more filling amazing. The workers are super friendly and make good recommendations. Love this place may even stop back before our flight out Mahalo!
Great place, ESPECIALLY since it was our very first meal, fresh off the plane. Stellar service, you just love a place that everyone seems to enjoy their job and it shows. The tortillas a freshly made everyday and it shows… The energetic man at the counter was very knowledgeable and help me narrow down what meats. He told us you don’t need more than two tacos and I was struggling to finish the second one. Great amount of meat. I got the Kahlua pork and the flavor and cooked onions were my fave. I also got a marinated steak and that was fantastic but the pork was my fave. My husband got the spicy fish taco and said it was “the best fish taco” he ever had!! And he loved his spicy steak too. On top of that we had baby chick hanging out which was fun. Nice options with indoor and outdoor seating.
Came here for the first time a few days ago and was pretty satisfied with my experience. The wait was fairly short and the staff was pretty helpful as well. I order one steak taco and one quesadilla. The overall taste was amazing. The tacos tasted very authentic and was very flavorful. The only con is the price, I can’t really justify spending almost $10 on a taco. My partner and I both got two and spent nearly $45 for four tacos.

Do not be fooled by the modest strip mall appearance. This was the most passionate restauranteur we met our whole trip. I have no problem saying these are the absolute best tacos in all of Hawaii and quite possibly the best that I have ever tasted. I lived my whole life in Southern California and I have been eating authentic tacos for many years- these truly were as good as any you will find.
Absolutely fantastic tacos. We had both the fish and the chicken – – both were very well prepared and tasted great. All the food is freshly made by order and you can tell probably the best though is the service — great staff that patiently explains the menu to you and even offer a suggestions based on your taste preferences. I highly recommend a stop on the way back to your hotels after a long day at the beach or at the falls.
Lots of different taco options. I had the big kahuna fish taco, which is grilled ono with serrano peppers and the Kahlua pork taco. My wife had the same, Kahlua pork taco, and a fish taco (same as the big kahuna without the peppers). Tacos are a la carte and range and price from $9.75 up to $10 or $11. Everything seemed fresh, the pork was delicious. The tortillas are handmade and hot. Only downside is the overall price, which is probably relatively standard on the island I guess. I would come back if there weren't a million other places to try during my week here.
We tried the Mayan fish and the kahlua pig taco. The fish was good but a little dry. The pig was AMAZING. The tortillas also tasted really fresh. 9/10 recommend this place if you are in the area!
Tacos are made with fresh made tortillas which are thick and tasty. The kahlua pork tacos was really good. The asada tacos weren't as good but still tasty.
Best tacos I ever had! We tried Fish, Chicken, Lamb and Beef Taco. Everything was amazing. Make sure you add some homemade Guacamole. 😋
